Hi All,
I have a 24 Touring with the latest 2.8 update. A couple of days ago, I got home and it would no longer accept AC charging from L1 or L2. It still DC charges. When I plug in it does all the normal stuff then sits there and says 0KW for a min before the red error lights. Just as a quick troubleshooting test before I got to request service could someone who has successfully AC charged use testmycode.cc and pull the values for the charging stuff? I am particularly interested in the 'Field 19, port_power: 5.9604644775390625e-06' reading a nonsense number....

<class 'vehicle_state_service_pb2.ChargingState'>:
Field 1, charge_state: CHARGE_STATE_NOT_CONNECTED (1)
Field 7, session_minutes_remaining: 65535
Field 8, charge_limit: 44290
Field 10, cable_lock: LOCK_STATE_LOCKED (2)
Field 14, charge_limit_percent: 75.00000111758709
Field 16, charge_scheduled_time: 900
Field 17, scheduled_charge: SCHEDULED_CHARGE_STATE_IDLE (1)
Field 18, scheduled_charge_unavailable: SCHEDULED_CHARGE_UNAVAILABLE_NO_REQUEST (1)
Field 19, port_power: 5.9604644775390625e-06
Field 26, discharge_target_soe: 10

I just got the car back, so I'd thought I share for the benefit of the group. Car was out from Aug 25th to Sept 10th, sat in a Service queue for a while and then slowed by Labor Day weekend. After a bunch of troubleshooting they did the follow fixes:

TSC-N0725-004-03 Bench Seat Crossmember

TSB-H1023-003-02 High Voltage Charging Not Possible with Level 1 and 2 Chargers
Pay Type: Warranty
Concern: Customer states vehicle is no longer charging on A/C on either a level 1 or level 2. Can take a charge on on D/C. Check and advise
Cause: An internal relay within the Multifunction Power Distribution Box (MPB) is not operating.
Corrections: P111316 0x16 AC Input Monitor Software Protection - Circuit Voltage
Below Threshold was found.
mpb was replaced following Lucid service procedures.
PNC re installed .
vehicle charges on levels 1,2 and 3.

TSC-S0925-019-01 Rear Brake Jounce Hoses

For those nerds, engineers and car guys out there, effectively the board in this video had failed.

Plenty of details in the service document I received, overall Service tech said this is not a particularly common thing although it has and does happen on the fleet.

Wish I had seen this earlier! This is similar to what happened to my car at the end of last year. My MPB was replaced in addition to the HV battery. Haven't had any issues with AC charging since.

Your parts list in the doc looks similar to mine:) Without naming names, I have a suspicion a certain branded but poorly maintained public L2 charger caused the fault....

Does that end with hargepoint and start with a C?

I have also had my car's MPB fail. My car is out of warranty though, and the repair is going to cost almost $6000. I started this thread about my issue before I knew what was wrong and I hadn't seen this thread when searching around.

There are very few threads mentioning the MPB. I think that must mean this is a pretty uncommon failure. I wish mine had failed about 5 months ago :-/

That sucks. Per my knowledge, it is pretty uncommon, and this seems to have just been a bout of bad luck. Given that price though, the Xcare extended warranty of $5-6k is looking pretty reasonable…

What is the xcare extended warranty?
