Anyone have success with gravity test drives? I'm not talking about the one day in your city opportunity that I couldn't make back in May.

Still waiting for any update here in NYC but having to plan contingencies if my gravity order doesn't materialize by the time this lease extension is up in late September. I figure a good test drive would help tide us over from making any rash decisions on a Rivian or Cadillac

I did one in White Plains as part of the tour in May, but still not Gravity here in the Manhasset studio on Long Island

Don't be too hasty! I hope you can find one to test drive soon!

There is a test drive Gravity at the Plano studio in the DFW area.

Just did one yesterday in Southern California. This time I got to be a passenger, and checked the trays on the second row while the car was in motion. Works well and isn't wobbly at all, however if the driver takes a harder corner turn devices like phones or tablets will slide off the notched plastic area since the plastic is slick. They should put a rubber insert into that slot for more grip on the device, but you can of course do that with aftermarket parts. Or you can have a suction mount which will also work.

Some quick thoughts: The 2nd row lights have a dimmer functionality. Also the screen that controls AC was very responsive. The 2nd row windows can only go down roughly half of the window height. Lots of legroom and the third row is still massive, easily bigger than the R1S.

One interesting thing is that the SA seemed confused there wasn't carplay in the Gravity yet. She said she got to try it at the last auto show and it worked well. Maybe a beta build was shown there? Or perhaps she was confused. TBD

The Seattle studio if not already should have a Gravity for demo drive within a few days.

Honestly, I can't imagine anything in a test drive that would cause me to change my mind. Every drive review raves about it.

I just wanna see one in person, sit in it, play with the seats, etc. I know that isn't gonna change my mind either, but I'll save the first drive like it's Christmas morning. 😎

Call up the studio. If you're a Gravity reservation holder they will do test drives for you before its open to general public. Provided they have a test drive car...
