And for those of us who live hundreds of miles away...an entirely other and slow process it's likely to be. Luckily I have work that will eventually need to be done in shop once parts come in. I just wonder if the update will have an OTA part we can do and the last part for the key is in shop or the whole thing is in shop and it'll be a while before w see this update applied....
 
Given the wording about the "highest level of security", my interpretation is that the update will complete fine on its own but at some point we will need a lucid technician to reconnect the fob and car. Maybe there's a new private cryptographic key that needs to be resynced between the car and the fob (total guess based on my limited exposure to hardware security).
 
Heard, via text, from my local service center this morning with an update on the replacement center console ordered for my GGT (another thread).
Also mentioned in the text was sw update 3.3.1 being available "to improve key fob functions".

I responded that I had read about the update and asked if the "in-person" service mentioned in the release notes required a visit to the service center or could it be done via mobile visit. Reply: "It can be done on a mobile. I believe that is for us updating your key fob with an android app. We have to connect the key to our phone and update the firmware for the key fob".

Not sure if it's gospel, but we will all eventually find out.
 
Today seems to be a great day with gravity for me. Received 3.2.2 late in the evening after a long time and now the latest update.

Yeah I also got it. Took about 1:40 or so for me even though it said 2 hours. Tried the “live view” from Halo Secure right away just to do it 😂
 
I got notice this morning as well. Since my car is sitting at an airport, I decided to try the update. Seems like it worked. Live view is great, except right now, the GPS doesn’t know where the car is bi scheduled a service appt for tomorrow for the rest of the update. I did that even before I got notice the update was available. Seeing as I’ve had no issues with my key fob, let’s hope nothing gets messed up.

Ooh a couple additional random things added with 3.3.1: 1) it now shows a black/stealth Gravity on the Pilot Panel (note that in 3 years Air was never updated to show your actual paint color) and 2) they added HUD display vertical position adjustment

Mine showed south Atlantic Ocean last night after update, but after good night’s sleep, it’s showing correct location now…at service center.
 
Accidentally posted this in 3.2.2 thread. Cool that you can see a view with side view mirrors closed and then open them and see the view. Here are the two views.

Thats good to know, because mine is showing the same south atlantic. Which is ironic because I am actually in the Caribbean today, and I know my car is no where near me :-).
 
Got my car back! More on that in service thread. It’s on 3.3.1 and fob has update.

Only “issue” I’ve had is Tidal opens but won’t play music. Spotify is working fine. Everything else works exactly as it should. It’s super cool to see my config on the vehicle screen for the drive modes, etc.

Need USB stick to test the Halo drive record. Have to search for one of those…

I used a Samsung Fit Plus when I had my Tesla as it was highly recommended because of it's higher heat rating than most (185F) and it held up well, I'll likely get the 512GB version on Amazon when the Gravity comes - it's only $60 there. https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-Standard-Compatible-MUF-512AB-AM/dp/B0CYMB3HG4/
 
Took the 3.3.1 update this morning. I haven't been able to see the live view yet; always shows 'connecting' and then eventually times out. Not sure what that's about. I made sure the app was up to date.
Also, my HUD is displaying a different speed than the dash display?? Assuming the dash is accurate, it looks to be about 30 or 40% mph adder. Sort of scary if you're not careful. May need to turn the hud off for now, if a reset and rest doesn't resolve.

my HUD did the same and went away after a sleep. Is your car located in a place with good signal?

Ok. I will try it again here layer this evening and see if they match.
Yes, it's in our garage near an access point. Or I guess it's probably using the att network for this for it to be very useful? Either way, it should have good signal.

Sounds like HUD may be showing speed in KPH vs your dash showing it in MPH

This is what I was thinking as well. Didn't have enough data points (or track them closely enough) to actually see if the conversion worked though. They both did say mph however.
Hopefully, it'll be fixed when I drive it tomorrow after resetting it and making it sit and think about what it had done.
