The Gravity is the new Land Rover for footballers, if you know the Top Gear reference. Or the Porsche Cayenne alternative. No one can off-roading like Rivian…
Who’s gonna pay that???

Can we talk about your awesome pool now?
Not at all I think. Rivian is about luxury truck with high ground clearance least aerodynamic 2 miles per KWh epa.
Gravity’s real competition.
Btw, aside from built-in lantern and torchlight. R1S’ 150W outlets are perfect for mobile fridge and to Level-1 charge other EVs. 8 USC-ports and 9 hotspot connections, I can take all kids with their Nintendo handhelds. 3x 12V, 2x 120V good for kitchen appliances. Can we talk about your awesome pool now?
I will totally dig this or Gravity. I like the Lucid headlight blade, but my wife likes Rivian Dyson’s fan headlight more.
You are killing me .. watching u enjoy the R1S is both awesome (for you) and a horrible reminder (for me ..of what I can't get)
Yesterday morning, my area had power outage for couple hours. My solar panels are still not installed due to claimed battery issue at supply chain. Anyway, despite Rivian R1S doesn’t have bidirectional charge, I only just found out that you can keep car on camping mode, then can treat the car as generator with high 1500W outlets.
Lucid, please design Gravity with high power outlets! This feature is also great to connect to trailer and other EVSE.

I actually find R1S dual motors Max pack (180 kWh) more practical than quad motors Large pack (135kWh) for that 390 miles range vs 300 miles. That spec is yet coming out til later 2023. I too am waiting for Gravity’s specs and hope existing Lucid owners can have earlier priority in production queue. As much as I’m very impressed with the utility of your R1S, I’ll restrain myself a little longer, and hold out for the Gravity.
Otherwise, very informative pictures, @Tesla2.0. Thank you.
That’s what I would get if I didn’t have OG pricing. Someone did the math and the extra 30 or 40 miles worth of range isn’t worth the expected 10k change fee, so I’m sticking with quad motors. Plus, you never know if you are going to have to invade Afghanistan or something, so it’s nice to have the power if you need it.I actually find R1S dual motors Max pack (180 kWh) more practical than quad motors Large pack (135kWh) for that 390 miles range vs 300 miles. LOL I saw a video R1T was able to haul 38,000 Semi out of snow and another video R1S able to haul 30’ Airstream. Maybe some day, I get enough time luxury to do that. That’s what I would get if I didn’t have OG pricing.
