Gravity [Dream Edition] Reservations Tracker

I am still in the pre-vin/batch assigned stage, how long after did yalls VINs get assigned?
I was never at that stage (or entered and exited so fast I didn’t notice). Like many here, I ordered the minute Lucid started taking reservations on 7 November of last year, then upgraded to Dream Edition in Feb of this year. SA called to give me my VIN a couple of weeks ago (getting close to three weeks now) and confirmed that same day my vehicle status had changed to ‘In Production’. To date, the status remains unchanged. It’s still ‘In Production’. So I’d take the “one week” predictions with a huge grain of salt.

Caveat: I’m in California, and have heard there’s an additional small delay on deliveries here (possibly due to an unfinished regulatory process).

How do you find out if you're in pre-VIN status?
 
Right. @hmp10 my SA proactively communicated hitting the “pre-VIN” stage and said it meant they were ordering all parts and putting it on the production schedule. VIN assigned when it actually starts production.

Easier said than done. I've called or texted my SA no more than six times since he was first assigned to my order back on November 7, and for no more than a few minutes each time. Even then most of the contacts were about changing something about the orders. He knows I'm getting frustrated by no activity on the orders, but I have been very careful not to be sharp or to direct any irritation at him personally as I know this is beyond his control.

I texted him two days ago after our test drives to see if he could give me any update. I've heard nothing back. (I think he works weekends at the studio, as he texted me on Easter Sunday to ask me to confirm our order configurations.)

It's becoming pretty clear that our plans to take one of the Gravities on a summer road trip are likely off the table, despite ordering the day orders opened and upgrading to a DE the day those orders opened.

So I'm not going to try to contact my SA again and instead will just wait to hear from him or to see something on the Lucid website to tell me at least one of the orders has started moving.
