LOLWhy would someone need to reserve a demo drive in late May when models for test drives will be available in Lucid studios in April?![]()

Looks to me like 2 cars only, each time slot can take 2 reservations, and it’s clear from the dates that it’s the same 2 test drive cars going around the country. Anyway, this is very exciting and I’m looking forward to my test drive on May 3rd.LOL
Look at those dates. Its like they got 5 cars, and they are moving them around the country.
I know I know, but as someone else said in another thread, this is not the cure of cancer, it’s not the end of the world if it didn’t reach your local studio until later (or never if it wasn’t one of the selected studios). Reading and watching the reviews are confirming it’ll be worth the wait for the engineers to fine tune it before it’s available to the general public.FYI looks like only 20 minute drives too. Slots are 20 minutes long. Unless they have 4 vehicles and are staggering the timing. I reserved mine, but overall, sorry @Murcie, but when it's been promised that these would be in Studios in April, this is a disappointment.
These 2 cars, which will be at studios and available for test drives, were nearly completed then. And now they will begin arriving at locations across the US, beginning in April. Promise made, promise delivered!"We have nearly completed building vehicles for studios and test drives and expect them to begin arriving at our locations across the U.S. beginning in April"
Nearly completed, my ass! This tour goes out until the end of May so its becoming increasingly clear Lucid is just buying themselves more time.
To be fair, if the reddit post its real., then they are so to be producing and delivering the DE units."We have nearly completed building vehicles for studios and test drives and expect them to begin arriving at our locations across the U.S. beginning in April"

You're completely missing the point. If the car has issues causing it to be constantly delayed then COMMUNICATE. Give people the option to wait it out or they can decide to move on. Instead, Lucid just keeps dangling the carrot in front of peoples faces. It's getting to a point where they just need to simply say "the car is delayed 3 months" etc. rather than this prolonged game of pretending everything is fine and just push things further and further down the line. It's not uncommon for delays in a new model but Lucid's behavior is beyond shady at this point.I know I know, but as someone else said in another thread, this is not the cure of cancer, it’s not the end of the world if it didn’t reach your local studio until later (or never if it wasn’t one of the selected studios). and the closest opportunity for a test drive for me is a 9 hour drive. Not filling me with after sale support confidence."We have nearly completed building vehicles for studios and test drives and expect them to begin arriving at our locations across the U.S. beginning in April"

You’re right. They’ve done nothing else. Sell the stock, the car, and burn it all down. They’ve sat on their hands and wasted our time while they collected paychecks.Took them 4 months to make 2 cars![]()
In the next couple weeks. It’s not like there won’t be more test drives coming. This is a launch; not the end.and the closest opportunity for a test drive for me is a 9 hour drive. Not filling me with after sale support confidence.
All that email tells me is that they're nowhere near ready to deliver cars. Think about it, if they couldn't make 50 to 100 cars to get into showrooms in the last 5 months what makes anyone believe that deliveries are just around the corner. If they do miraculously start delivering then its probably going to be at a snails paceand the closest opportunity for a test drive for me is a 9 hour drive.
