Gravity Delivery Discussion

Sorry, I was being sarcastic; there was a recent article and media hubbub about how Lucid had “only sold 9 gravities” because certain “journalists” have no common sense or desire to do any actual journalism like confirming facts and sources, and we all laughed about it here because this forum alone has seen more than 9 delivered lol, hence the joke.

My bad. :p
Ahhh.... sorry, I've been doing yardwork all day, my brain is not all there...

After seeing the Tahoe interior in person, I felt that the contrast between the Tahoe color and the rest of the interior was too dramatic, so I changed my order to Ojai. Just wondering if anybody has taken delivery of the Ojai interior and don't mind sharing opinions and actual photos. I am sure everyone has seen the Tahoe interior either in person or photos. I'd like to see photos and hear opinions of all other interiors. Thanks.

Saw Yosemite on our demo drive (the early one where we had 15 minutes or whatever). Did not like it. “White” just feels like it’s asking to get color transfer or some other issue and it was “too striking” with rest of interior. But, it definitely felt more open.

That said, this is a very subjective topic, so obviously this is my pure opinion. Also, I am a lover of the Tahoe, for full disclosure.

For what is worth:

I went for a test drive Gravity today (Tysons Galleria, Virginia). 30-minutes, by myself (no SA in the car with me). Amazing car. I asked the SA how many Gravity have been delivered in that location alone (Tysons). He said slightly over a hundred. I don’t think he was lying. He also said he had 54 Gravity orders (him alone, personally, one SA in that location) that he has yet to match with a Gravity. It looks like there is good demand
I also did a test drive at Tyson's on Thursday. I asked the SA who went on the test drive with me - a woman who isn't our SA - how many have been delivered. She didn't know the count for the whole store but her number was much higher than I expected.

Curious if they used the keycard or fob to start the car…

They used the keycard for the one I test drove yesterday (Sunday 8/24). I asked about the keyfob and they said someone took it with them during one of the previous test drives.

It was Black on Tahoe, fully loaded (except the Tech package). Medium wheels size, seven seater

I finally got a call last night from my inside sales SA at Lucid after reaching out twice over the last two weeks (he was OOO twice). I was told my Black DE/Tahoe/22-23 would likely go into production in September, and to expect to receive it October/November by the time all the post production inspections and delivery is sorted out. I ordered June 4th. After reading everyone’s posts about all the delivery issues, I’m resigned that the later in the year the better to get all the bugs and manufacturing issues sorted out. I’m feeling similar to others on this forum, which is this doesn’t feel like how the experience should be when purchasing a $140K vehicle, but maybe Lucid will prove me wrong in the end. I’m super excited about the car the more I watch YouTube videos and listen to podcasts. I still never received Marc Winterhoff’s email.

Our other GGT (was GDE but decided didn’t need HUD or extra HP, so changed a while ago), just went into production (per dashboard) today and I have VIN now. Black, stealth, smallest wheels, Tahoe, loaded except HUD (does have power package)…

Will be interesting to see how long it takes to build. And if I can get wife to get rid of her X since she’s seen my early Gravity issues. She’s far less tolerant and patient. Like, not at all. 😆

If it makes you feel better, I ordered my Green DE/Tahoe/20-21 w/ a similar timeline and my SA wouldn't even commit to a timeline, or even respond to my emails (they were more responsive when I called, though). No marketing emails either.

Just got a VIN and a 6-weeks-out notice from my SA on this config, ordered 6/17/25 - GGT, AG, Tahoe, 20/ 21, Stealth, DDP, Dynamic Handling, Power, Comfort, Towing. So pumped!!!!!

BUT - when I asked about CCS and J-Plug adapters my SA said that Lucid will not provide them. "No the Gravity will not come with adaptors - it comes equipped with NACS charge port.”

Has anyone else not received adapters? The general consensus on this thread seemed to be that Lucid provided both CCS and J-Plug adapters at no additional charge with either a GDE or GGT. Yes?
