Lucid is offering a $3000 credit to existing owners going into another Lucid. Not sure if it’s just a July thing or going to be permanent. All us June delivery pre-existing owners got screwed

I think that promo is only for Air. Not Gravity

It might just be because it’s built and ready to go and it would cost them $3,000 to transport out of Chicago area. There doesn’t seem to be a ton of GDE demand. The HUDs are a constraint, of course. You can still order a GDE now…

Yeah possibly. I mean I’m on the fence. Id get my own GDE by August it looks like based on what he’s saying.

But then do I risk transporting this car halfway across the country. Tough lol.

There are no GDE that can be ordered on the web site, that option is gone. If however you’ve already ordered a Gravity GT and wish to upgrade to a DE you MIGHT be able to but might not. I had asked my initial SA if it was possible to upgrade my Aurora Green GT to a DE and he looked extensively and said all allotted GDE had been reserved already, which matched the website no longer having that option. However he got promoted so I got a new SA, and when I came in for a test drive of the Gravity I saw a black GDE being prepped for customer delivery and I really liked the black so I told my SA I’d like to switch to either black GT or black DE if available and could get it with the Hankook 20/21 range wheels, and he did an extensive search and 2 days later found I could order a black Dream Edition with 20/21” wheels, so I placed and confirmed the order. Don’t have a VIN yet but hey I’m happy I could get a DE I wanted.

If you order a GGT today, you immediately have the option to get a GDE, so they aren’t all reserved. That’s what I meant by saying they’re still available. I know this because my brother ordered a GGT two days ago and I asked if he could login and configure a GDE and he could.

It’s not a huge deal. We had this discussion earlier and someone mentioned the Air Dreams weren’t “sold out” immediately either.

Interesting, it never let me configure a DE, even though I had a GT order, I had to tell my SA what I wanted and he had to do it.

If you login to your account, then, when you’re on your dashboard, just hit the hamburger menu in upper right and choose “design yours” under Gravity. It will show the GGT and also the GDE below it…so you can choose a GDE. Granted, you have to already have a Gravity ordered to see it, so you can’t just order directly. But my point was simply they’re still offering GDEs.

Hmmm. Very odd to me. I did not own an Air, nor did my brother. Who knows? The Lucid mysteries continue…I should note it’s not an auto upgrade option. You’d have to order a GDE and then call your SA or Lucid and cancel the GGT if you only wanted the GDE. Just as easy to call your SA and upgrade an existing order, I guess.

I have one of each ordered. Don’t care which I get first. Just want one now!!!!

I apparently have a chance to get the same spec GDE but I’d have to arrange to pick it up from Chicago at my own cost. They’re offering 3k off msrp for me being an air owner this month. Is this something other air owners have gotten for the people that have picked theirs up?

I think I was offered the same Chicago pickup only GDE today. Green?

IL->CA is a great way to get familiar with the vehicle, and really open it up on those flat Wyoming highways....

July is such a busy month for me. If it was August I'd be all for going down there and driving this thing back for a few days. Love roadtripping.

Huh, that’s odd, by order you mean the $1000 deposit was placed? I did not have that option once I’d paid the $1K for the GGT.

Hey you’re right, if I’m logged in and go to saved orders (not confirmed ones) it does allow me to change it to GDE, funny as my first SA said he couldn’t do it and they were all reserved. They must have changed something.
