I've been offered a GT in my spec (loaded, no tech package, but add back power) but in black/platinum (instead of black/stealth). I'm confirming all the options do in fact line up, but I might take the plunge on this one.
Do the options like up with your needs? Power Package included?

Yes, they do.

FYI I also was offered a GT in Aurora Green *with the tech package.* So it seems they may be getting applied not just to DEs at this point.
And these are built VINs, pre vin or ā€œin productionā€? Just curious as I’ve been offered several pre vin and one in production.

I don't honestly know. My SA told me the Green GT with tech is "2 weeks to delivery" so I'd guess that one is built but it depends on how accurate he is about delivery or whether delivery means completion or shipping from AZ or whatever. The black one I am hoping to take is "1 month" so šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. He did say he has a VIN so I'm guessing it's not pre-VIN but either in production or built. But again, who knows.

whoops, i missed my window. hemmed and hawwed too long.

For those who have transferred a deposit from one vehicle to another, how was it done? My SA is telling me that it can't be done.

that looks awesome. Let me know where you are doing wrap and tint. I am trying to decide if I want to do something fun color wise with a wrap.
Only place I would trust. One of One on Convoy. Used to be called Auto Armor. Mine was the first Air they did 3 years ago. Lot is full of Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, Mercedes, etc. If you change color, I would do colored PPF and not vinyl. We did that on our ID Buzz in Florida.

can you DM me with details? maybe $$$ and times? I am thinking about switching to a voodoo blue type color from Porsche but am trying to think how it will mesh with the stealth package trim and wheels.

I'm losing faith in my delivery - I was told my GGT was built 4 weeks ago - was told it would ship this week 2 weeks ago - so far this week crickets from my SA. I called and he said he would check - that was Saturday morning - with no information so far. I cannot understand how it takes Lucid so long from build to shipping to delivery. I don't know what to believe anymore - your SA said 2 weeks - good luck if any of these dates are real!

There’s zero rush right now from Lucid as it’s beginning of the quarter. Doesn’t matter to them if they deliver now or September 30. In fact, I think they want to all take a breather if they’re like Tesla and Rivian. It will come when it comes - most likely by end of Q3 if it is already built.

Take care of the numbers for Wall Street, and worry about the customer later.

I'm not saying nobody does it, and obviously rushing for quarter end happens, but on an overarching scale I sure hope you're wrong. I also don't see a reason to intentionally slow things down to rush for the quarter end.

I think it’s less about being intentionally slow and more about being intentionally fast at quarter end with a clear deadline. We just saw it with all the Gravity deliveries and the crazy Air incentives in June versus where the incentives are now.

Regardless, I do hope they ramp and keep pushing! My money is literally burning a hole in my wallet! 🤣

Did you confirm your order? If the order was not confirmed then they have not moved your vehicle into line for production so you could still change it. If you reached the non-refundable deposit stage then I don’t think you can change it without a new deposit? Don’t quote me on that, maybe I’m wrong, but I did change my order twice after placed the deposit, but just finalized the order yesterday so now it’s not refundable.

This is DeJaVu of earlier days of Air production, where it’s not due to your car not being in the process of being built, but rather due to challenges with accurate internal communication of vehicle status for SAs to relay to customers. Sometimes they don’t give new information because they don’t have information to give, BUT I do agree they should always reply when you ask them for updates, even if the reply is ā€œsorry still don’t have new information but will relay it when I doā€.

I spoke to my 3rd SA today after the previous ones have left. He said my GGT has a build slot which means it should build this month hopefully. However, he then went on to say that delivery could be between 1-4 months following that build to make sure it’s right. I definitely want a well built car but a 1-4 month window? Huh?
