Gravity Bugs / Issues

are you choosing bluetooth as the audio source?
I didn't know that we needed to separately select Bluetooth as the audio source. Is this a setting you choose in Audio settings? I ll try to figure it out.

Also stating the obvious because this happened to me when I set it up the other day- make sure that whatever music app you're using on your phone has the volume > 0 too. The car's volume setting is relative to the source's setting.
It's definitely > 0

Just an audio source; click on music, then select Bluetooth as your source.

Anyone notice Halo secure record “button” is sometimes grayed out on drives and says it needs to be set up? Doesn’t happen frequently, but a couple of drives. Then I park, do whatever, get back in and it’s fine. Sorry if this has been noted previously and I missed it.

When it is, the USB drive didn’t get mounted correctly. You can see it when you go to settings. It’s a bug.

After a couple days of driving it I think I am only seeing one weird issue with my GGT, which is that the front driver side turn signal (sometimes?) blinks at a weird fast/uneven cadence. It doesn’t happen all the time because when I was parked in my driveway I asked my wife to look and she said they were all acting normal, but I’ve definitely seen the issue out driving when it’s reflected on the back of other cars.

I haven’t rebooted the car yet since owning it so I’ll probably give that a shot and see if it goes away.

It seems our Gravities have an affinity for salt water. Our first Gravity repeatedly reported its location as in the Atlantic Ocean just off the west coast of Africa. Today our second Gravity was put on a truck for transport from Miami to Naples. However, the truck seems to have found its way out into Biscayne Bay:

This doesn't look promising.

At least it’s close. I think it will be fine…why are the odd, right?

I was going to jokingly ask if you had ordered the Gravity Amphibious Edition, but after all you've been through already I feel uncomfortable doing so...

I was tracking the car this morning and saw if first via Live View sitting in the Service Center. Then the location tab showed it being driven out of the Service Center and onto the truck. The next time I looked, hey . . . Biscayne Bay.

Oh, might as well. If I couldn't laugh at all this, I'd be crying by now.

Maybe it's just trying to cross the ocean to meet its sibling!

Except that its sibling is now sitting in a Service Center outside Atlanta. Unless it's made its way to the St. Lawrence Seaway by now. Hard to tell.

This is kind of aggravating. The car is being delivered to the PPF installer, not to our house. Lucid was supposed to call me when the truck left the Service Center. But they never did, and I was relying on the app to let me track its location so that I could meet the car to inspect it when it was turned over to the PPF installer. I saw the car being put onto the truck and know about how long the drive takes, but I don't know if the truck will stop for lunch or detour for some other reason, so I'm left winging it.

This pretty much defeats the purpose of having tracking capability in the first place.

I would not read too much into this. The enclosed truck is probably blocking the GPS signals. Hence, your car really does not know where it is. It may have used form of dead reckoning to put you in the bay. I suspect all will be well when it is unloaded from the truck.

I'm pretty sure you're right. But I had to extract what humor I wring out of my anxiety about how this second Gravity rodeo is going to go.
