Early press photos showed the frunk seat with coordinating upholstery to the interior -- Tahoe accent on the top cushion. Mine is just black, but it does have "Dream Edition" badging. O1H I think the leather would be nice, OTOH this is probably more durable...

Customer care today confirmed that DEs will get the frunk seat but in our "gift box" that will arrive "some time later"

Very few vegan cows have been harmed in the making of the frunk seats. Lucid talked about it, teased it, hyped it… and then forgot to send the order to the farm. 😂

Edit: I just realized the mats on the site specifically say they're for the 3 row.

It definitely has the cut outs. :) Took delivery of my 5 seater today.

The sunshades from the front seat of my Air fit perfectly in the front seat of my Gravity. I have not yet tried the backseat one but I cannot imagine that fitting.

Ah -- I just asked about this in the other thread. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if this is temporary to have more shared parts during initial assembly runs. Surely removing the 2nd-row sliding components reduces costs, which is part of why a 5-seater is less expensive... but right now, having fewer different parts is probably better.

The 2nd row seats do move forward so if they keep feature that I imagine the cut outs will stay.
 
Anyone know if Canvasback or similar is coming out with trunk and seat protectors?

Need them for my dog and do not like the generic slings, etc on Amazon…

In my very limited experience, 3rd party accessory companies often wait until the first potential customer asks them to make their product for a new vehicle. Might be worth reaching out to Canvasback and asking them, if you like their product. Sometimes they wait until a potential customer is local and willing to bring them a vehicle to measure.
 
Does anyone know when wheel and tire combos might be available? Taking delivery with the 22/23 but I’m looking for a set of the 20/21. Hopefully some time before December!
 
There are “rumors” of a winter package with Nokian tires on 20/21” wheels, based on air wheel pricing have at least 6k ready…

As far as timing, December is good for snow? Maybe.
 
Heads up the shades are back in stock.

I've been refreshing the page for weeks now, and I think they came in stock either yesterday evening or this morning. Hurry up and get them if you want them! Not sure why they went out of stock last time but it was definitely a wait.

I have not. I would expect some company like Abstract Ocean will have custom ones before Lucid. That said, they’ll just be 3D printed. If they’re not out when I take delivery, I will print some temporary ones for myself.

I don’t understand the need for this. I’ve had an X and have an R1S and neither have given me issues with heat or glare. I can always turn the AC on before I get in, as well.

Am I missing something about the way Lucid tints their cars or is this an FL, CA, AZ thing whereas I am in MD?

Might be a CA thing but also I have two young toddlers who fall asleep during road trips and I don't want the sun right in their face haha

They’re not necessary. That doesn’t mean they aren’t helpful. Helps save on AC for efficiency, generally makes the car more comfortable in the summer months, etc. If I lived in MD (I used to live in VA) I wouldn’t bother.

It’s just a bit of extra heat btw; not glare or anything like that. The tinting is perfectly fine; just some folks may want more.

I’m probably gonna get our side windows tinted today. Probably won’t do the windshield though, as I haven’t felt any heat come through that at all.
