Awww it's my turrnnnnn
So far it doesn't look like my car has downloaded it. Just checked the vehicle network usage and not seeing any significant usage. It looks like it downloaded something fairly large on 03/15 which might have been the failed 3.5.0 update. Home assistant says it downloaded something but that is probably that older version. Not sure if the integration reports the downloaded version anywhere or if I can get it to dump it out. My patience for Python is basically non-existent (such an awful, terrible, no good language) so not going to bother looking at the code.

The native app would allow for Atmos playback. Not a possibility with CP/AA.

It is possible, Lucid just hasn't enabled the functionality.

I agree with this. I don’t mind CarPlay although this will be my first car with it since I’ve been in Tesla world for over a decade. Native Apple Music is still a need though.
Quick question -- what is the above display from? Is this a TeslaFi-like interface for Lucid? Thanks.
I asked Siri for spatial audio and the results sound fantastic - I don't know if it is actually spatial audio or the system is just so damn good, but it was competitive with Dolby Atmos. If my further experiments today bear that out, bye bye Tidal subscription.
When I went out to play with the new toys for a couple minutes last night, I didn't have my fob or keycard in my pocket. Turned back to go back in the house and "ding" I used my phone to unlock the doors, start the car. Lights, camera and action - a running car without getting my damn keys off the hook in the house.
No, it isn't PAAK, but I will be able to keep my keys in my briefcase in the house and use my phone if I need to move the car (OK, or just play with the shiny new app!). Plus, the car won't keep unlocking when I walk by.
I'm geeked! This might be better than PAAK - the Polestar lights up like a Christmas tree every time I get nearby - the Gravity won't. They might be on to something here.
I would love a transparent background option for CarPlay, so the app/buttons could "float" on top of the background of the built-in Lucid screen, but there ia a solid brown that matches pretty well.
Apple Maps is not showing me a satellite view - google and ABRP do - so maybe I have to tweak my own settings for Apple Maps. Looking for getting as close as I can to the beautiful full map presentation as Lucid does on the in-house version.

woke up to pee at 130am and installed it!
Carplay was easy to setup largely because it was on my phone already from a decade ago. All apps worked fine but I didn't want to test the texting at 530am as no one would be pleased about that
I did notice I had to reset my mirrors, wheel, and the custom buttons to my original preferences - hopefully that is a one time thing
