Our Order was: White, Mojave interior, 19” wheels. We were fortunate that a GT with identical specs that was detailed and ready for delivery came up after a cancellation.
Lucid provided us a very Comfortable ride via Lyft for the 100 miles to the Costa Mesa, CA service center. The reception by the Delivery Specialist and staff was exceptional.
The service center is an amazing space….maybe 1/2 dozen cars staged for delivery, another 1/2 dozen+ being prepped for delivery or being worked on. Satisfying to be in an automobile service area and have no scent of petroleum products!
The Car seems faultless at this point, ……. but if anyone has knowledge of how to delete a few remembered Radio stations that it picked up while in the service center, please share.
It’s almost up to the 80% charge this morning(I started charging this morning since there’s no time of day charging ability now). So Far, the learning Curve has been pleasant and intuitive.
We use Solar for home charging.
We’ll take a shake-down road trip to East SF bay in a few weeks and a monthlong trip to Santa Fe later in the year…..On paper, both trips should be easy with Electrify America.
Driving the 100 miles home was amazingly comfortable (especially with the massage function on the front seats). And the Regenerative Braking is great.
The Electric that we‘ve used for local driving the previous 5 years (a 2017 Chevy Bolt) is peppy and excellent for simplicity, but the GT is simply refined Beauty & Powerful! We’ll keep the Bolt for a second car as needed but we’re delighted to have gotten rid of what we expect will be the last ICE vehicle that we’ll own.
