Frunk does not open with the key fob or app

I got my Pure few days ago and I am having trouble opening the frunk. Not sure if there is a problem or maybe just me?

When I open with the key fob, I do hear and see the hood gets released from the hinges, but not all the way. I try to lift up the hood, I can't. It is a manual frunk. Same thing happens if I use the app to open.

After using the key fob or the app, when I look on the pilot inside the car, it has the frunk flashing. I can click the frunk on the pilot, and it gets released enough so I can move it up, it opens just fine using the pilot.

Am I not doing something right or is this a defect?

Likely a defect. I think Lucid has (or at least had) some issues with the build quality on the frunk.

I had a service guy over for another issue but mentioned some quirkyness with my frunk. He checked out and showed me how one of the latches on the front of the lid wasn't installed evenly and was catching weird into the mechanism. He was able to get it straightened out.

At my recommendation is to call service and they should hopefully be able to fix it.
