Frunk closing

Just tested with a pool noodle. Yes, the frunk will reopen after hitting it, but it hits it with a good amount of force. For an adult, I don't think it would break an arm (osteoporosis not withstanding), but it would definitely leave a good bruise.
I think it would maybe severely damage or maybe break a finger?

I was warned at the delivery center to be careful with the frunk when closing because it comes down hard.

Same here. It closes quickly with a lot of force.

Curious as to why it doesn't beep (not that I want it to). Every SUV I've owned in the last 10 years has a tailgate beep. And they are much slower and easier to avoid.

I've stopped the frunk with my hand as it got about halfway. The feeling is the same as stopping the trunk from closing for needed force. If your hand was the wrong way, it would hurt. Break or dismember? No. Bruise. Depends on the person and position of hand/arm.

What no one has mentioned is the most significant issue - a child getting hit with that forceful closing. Make sure your kids are well away from the frunk before it closes, and don't let them push the button.
