I'm not yet a Gravity owner, but here are some Tesla features that we do love:
• Dashcam / Sentry Cam. The latter saved me $2800 as it caught the owner of a house I had parked in front of backing out of his driveway and scrapping my car. AND coming back to check the damage and not leaving a note. With his neighbor, my friend, confronting him, he covered the damage costs.
• For those vehicles with air suspension, be able to adjust ride comfort and handling independently. These are NOT incompatible - comfort adjust spring/shock rate while handling detects curves and keeps the car level.
• Charge Windows. Tell the car your cheapest TOU electricity start/stop and the car will charge only during that time OR tell you it won't complete the charge during the next charge window if it can't. Tesla calls this "Charge Schedules" and you can have multiple, and choose them from your phone.
• Charge-By time. Instead of charge at a time, the car starts charging on its own to be at your desired charge level by a certain time.
• Pre-Road tripping charge. If you change the charge limit to be above 80%, the car will ask if you want this level permanently or just this one time.
• Priority Bluetooth device. If two people have paired their phones and both are in the car, this has the car choosing which you want to be connected. Some cars do which got to the car first, which isn't as good. This is over-rideable of course.
• Video streaming services while parked at a charger. Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Paramount+, etc.
• Remember your preferred drive mode. I suspect Lucid can't actually implement this because the EPA wants the most efficient drive mode to be choosen automatically each time you start the car. But, it would be great for some of us to start in Swift instead of Smooth.
• I think Lucid has an "easy exit/entry," and hopefully it handles both moving the seat to a specific position AND moving the steering wheel to a specific position - and then back to your driving position. And that this is per driver so one driver can have easy exit/entry while the other just has their driving position. And detected from FOB/Phone as to which driver.
• The whole finding of fast chargers, auto-choosing of chargers, abiility to over-ride which chargers for some and re-calc for others needed, that takes into account SOC for faster charging AND how busy those chargers are (if Tesla, EVGo, etc. provide that info). It took Tesla several years to get this right, but now that it is, it's very convenient.
• Does the Gravity start music every time you get in the vehicle? Many cars do this, but I personally find it annoying, especially since the volume I ended a ride at is almost certainly not the volume I want to start a ride at. It should remember that I was listening to BT or radio or whatever and auto-select that, but not actually start playing until I tell it. At least make this a driver preference.
