Guilty as charged. I worked for a Fortune 100 company my entire career. My kids tell me it's unusual to stay in a job for 5 years - that for people their age, that's viewed as a weakness and you would be viewed as weird. I gotta say, working in the period of corporate benefits availability, I have great retirement benefits for sticking with 1 company and they always ensured that we were compensated in the top 25% of what competitors were offering within my field.
I'm keeping my eye on that along with local CUs. Looks like I just have to join a consumer support organization for $25 to gain membership in Carolina Coop since I don't qualify via residence or employer.
