They will have had 1.5 years to work on UX3.0 with Gravity, so my hope is that's enough time to work out bugs with this new team that's now in place after the overhaul.

Marc came out and said this week that Gravity software woes will be solved by end of month or March at the latest. I would classify that as stability in the system not saying features etc are going to be delivered.

I was actually thinking the same... It's great they have reacted to the videos from EE, OOS, Savage Geese, etc. But owners have been claiming the same for years and never got a response or explanation.

I thought about that too, but can’t edit posts here after 15 minutes. I’ve pointed out and think it’s true that they fired everyone involved in whatever happened with the Gravity launch. I could’ve wrong but it feels like they turned a corner.
 
We've known for a while that the Gravity's software is also intended for the midsize. As a software engineer, I think it's much easier to have confidence in a multi-platform piece of software if it's been made to work on three platforms. When you've only done the first port to a second platform, it's much easier to have all kinds of strange assumptions about the hardware still lingering in the software. I think the odds of UX 3.0 being reliable for the mid-size launch are much higher if they've worked through a lot of UX 3.0 issues on the Air. Because of that, I think it's very good news that they're talking about making it available for Air customers by the end of the year. I wasn't actually expecting that. With the current state of the Gravity software, I'd been assuming that they'd feel like they needed until sometime next year before they didn't risk a lot of unhappy Air customers by prematurely releasing it.

CCCv2 is a different computer than the DDP, and it is only for the entertainment part of the car. So I don’t foresee any ADAS feature requiring the CCCv2 but the memory upgrade compared to CCCv1 might lock features such as dashcam recording while driving, which was promised a year or so ago, but this is me speculating.

Also, at the Seattle Lucid Event this summer, answering a question, the head of hardware/adas (If I recall correctly) said that a DDPv2 retrofit is unlikely to happen because the Gravity has both computers on one chip compared to current Airs.
 
I am so happy to see this video, makes me so excited I almost want to go out and buy another one assuming all comes to fruition.
Car delivered 11/11/22, 25K miles and my experiences have been great. I am only driver (wife likes her ice BMW and is not at all techy) so Profile is no issue. I have doors set to "Passive unlock disabled", I touch the door handle and I am in immediately 100% of the time (Automatic lock works as I walk away). I have had a couple of black screens, the Air Reset and in a minute and I am rolling. Android Auto works fine, Tidal always puts me back to the start, not pickup where it left off, minor irritation. I have gotten as high as 4.3 mi/kWh on 150 mile trip 4 passengers loaded in 90 degree weather.
I had an appointment for early December at Tysons for annual maintenance, CCCv2 update and problems with right rear door handle (they are going to replace all 4) but all of the parts were unavailble so next Tuesday is the new date for repairs. Hope they have a loaner available this time as all my other visits they did not, and Lyfted me both ways. It was never a problem then, but I no longer have 3 cars and both my wife and I need transportation.
I had concerns of how do I get rid of the car when the Warranty is up, but now the future is looking so bright, I may just keep it until ??

I have an April 24 manufactured date Touring and have to admit that I didn't have a lot of (software) problems and nothing that a logo reset didn't fix. PAAK works good but I disable it because the proximity of car in my house. Two weeks ago I took a 2 years subscription deal with Sirius XM Canada (5.74$/month) and notice that I have no sound on bluetooth phone but dial's ok no sound of ringing, nothing but phone operation on the screen. Logo reset fix it. On my 14 months of ownership I may have reset the car maybe 5-6 times, mainly after software update. Is it pure luck or the upgraded chip ?
I'll go with the chip.

And Elon said that Tesla would have FSD unsupervised by next month. Similar bravado.

Will Gravity software be a lot more stable by March - most likely. Will the software be bug free - not likely.

It does seem like the Gravity updates haven't had that many bug fixes in them, and I'd have expected their software team could make more progress than demonstrated so far. If they do a Jan, Feb, and March update of the same size they've had so far, that wouldn't get them to anything I'd call "bug free". But maybe they've only been releasing the fixes they felt were most urgent, and the team has been working on a lot of other fixes that they're talking more time to test thoroughly before releasing. So it's not completely impossible there's a much larger release coming by the end of the quarter. Time will tell.

It’s never going to be bug free plain and simple. No software defined vehicle is. I took his statement about it being stable to stop the vocal noise coming from reviewers, new owners etc.

It always seems so strange that they’re just a tad too tight….even for their own branded bottles! (which I only purchased because I figured at least that would fit!)

I tried my galaxy fold 6 and it was a tight fit but it charged. I did get the aftermarket charger so i could have 2 phones in there. I can't imagine a thicker phone. That thing is basically two phones in one.
