Cupholder dimensions?

I have mentioned in another area, but will add here. The cup holders are way too small and a huge design flaw. HOWEVER ..... I have found these cupholders on Amazon

and they work perfectly, fit snugly, and are able to rotate away from the screen and do not impede access to the screen. Actually, I like having them better than if the cupholders were the right size in the first place. I have installed one of them and I just ordered a second one to have two of them and they should both fit nicely. The rear seat armrest cupholders are way too small -- not sure what to do about those. My old Tesla had no rear cupholders and a third party company made a snug small cupholder cushion that fit nicely on the floor in between the front center console and back seat area which solved that problem. I'm hoping eventually someone does that for Lucid.

Be warned, there is an option on the Amazon page for it for a $15.99 version and then an upgraded $19.99 version. Purchase the $15.99 version, NOT the upgraded version. I tried the $19.99 "Upgraded" version and it sits too tall and is very awkward and does get in the way.

Not sure if there are other forums or areas where this has come up, but I went through about 5 different cup holders until I found this one, so feel free to spread the word.

I somehow recall my MS also had cupholders that were too small and I bought a cup adapter. But the swing-away aspect of this is perfect for the Lucid. Good find, Z-Squad!

I got the same swivel cupholder. It seems like there are a few companies selling the same thing. It is perfect for the Lucid.

Are the dimensions on Amazon for this cupholder correct? I looked at this cupholder on Amazon and don't see how it would fit the front cupholder space in the Lucid unless maybe you take up both cupholder spaces. The distance from the bottom to the swing out part is 3.54 inches. The front cupholder area in the Lucid Air needs the bottom portion of the cupholder to be about 4.5 inches to clear the side lip of the cupholder area. After going through several cupholders myself, this is the only one I found that I could put two cupholders side by side to hold larger drinks.
The only problem is that they are tall, and with correspondingly tall drinks in them, it does interfere with using the pilot panel a bit. Swing out holders that would swing more than these would be useful.

There are a few very similar ones. If you look at the picture on Amazon, the base is only 2.6" which does fit. I don't know about putting two of these in the car. I only have one and that works fine. I'm using the left cupholder as is. You are correct in that it is tall with a cup in it, and does kind of block the pilot panel.

I had entered this into a different thread a while ago, but I also found similar ones on Amazon that I am still using. It broke once in the last year and I had to replace it, but for the price, not a big deal.

Here is the one that I found works like a charm as well:

So how do you use it in your car? The top won't swing to the side. Do you swing it to the rear behind the cupholder over the storage space behind it? Although that would block the storage space some, it would have the advantage of blocking the pilot panel less.

I usually don't swing it out at all, unless I need three cupholders in the car. I just needed at least one of the cupholders to be bigger. Everyone in my family other than me likes 44 oz cups.
