High probability, but I would not think it would hold back cars being delivered without it if it hasn't cleared Google.I saw a report that the Lucid Gravity has Android Auto. Is this true?

Maybe it's cleared on 3.0?High probability, but I would not think it would hold back cars being delivered without it if it hasn't cleared Google.
If the UI/Computer/OS (?) are different between the Air and Gravity, wouldn't Lucid have to do two different qualification/validation with Google, one for Air and one for Gravity? And to the extent any of this is true, shouldn't Lucid have known about the Google qualification/validation cycle and should have baked it into their promised release dates?High probability, but I would not think it would hold back cars being delivered without it if it hasn't cleared Google.

I'm pretty sure they have to do validation for each vehicle. Yes. And likely they did factor that into their release schedule. But Gravity's certification shouldn't hold up Air's, and vice versa. If the UI/Computer/OS (?) are different between the Air and Gravity, wouldn't Lucid have to do two different qualification/validation with Google, one for Air and one for Gravity? That's pretty much standard operating procedures for new HW/SW validation. It takes time, but it is necessary to avoid glitches. We are never smart enough to know in advance how SW and HW might interact. Maybe AI will make it better. For now, brute-force regression/validation mitigates the risks.I'm pretty sure they have to do validation for each vehicle. Yes. And likely they did factor that into their release schedule. Yeah...this didn't age well did it...Still waiting.
I mean there's only a couple handfuls of Android green texters that own a lucid. Beta-testing would be a roll out!I have heard more than once that it's in development. I even heard they have a working beta. But still no word on when it will be released.
I wish I could sign up to be a beta tester for this.

You’ll have a Gravity before Android Auto comes.I'm sure it'll arrive by this fall.
The sad part is that this has gotten so drawn out, that at this point, it’s not even funny anymore… it’s more tragic!I'm sure it'll arrive by this fall.
You giving odds? You’ll have a Gravity before Android Auto comes.
