New to the Forum and loving my Lucid Air. I maybe in the vast minority, but I don’t use the power meter and I find it pretty distracting. Does anyone know if it can be turned off or if Lucid has any plans to allow that? Thanks.
I don’t know of a way to turn it off but if you use the dream drive button on the left side of the steering wheel, the power meter goes away and speed will be shown in digits. That is the screen before you engage cruise and you can leave it there without engaging cruise or driver assistance. Only downside is that, that setting doesn’t stay. You need to hit it every drive after car sleeps and wakes up. The button is #2 in the picture attached.
Interesting, but everyone reacts to things like this in different ways. I don't find itat all distracting, but am happy to see the clear information it provides, as I think it has helped me improve the efficiency of my driving. My problem is with the lack of that feedback when cruise control (aka highway assist?) is engaged. For me, the narrow white charge/discharge band at the bottom of the screen is nigh impossible to interpret.
Some have called it the "metronome", I'm assuming because for them it is always ping-ponging back and forth.
I think of it as a reminder to keep a steady foot!
