My steering wheel also started creaking today, so I’m about to get friendly with the service department.

Felt tape is the fix to the creek? Interesting.

The panel was on when I got in the car and off when I got out, so not vandalism. I hope none of the other panels start falling off. Bizarre.

Felt is a temporary fix not a permanent fix. At least that is what the Scottsdale service center told me.

They are redesigning parts of the steering wheel. Or maybe the felt is the long term fix. The creaking comes from the plastic rubbing against other plastic, so if no rub no creak!

I brought it upon myself because an hour earlier I was bragging to a Tesla owner that the GT doesn’t have any creaks or squeaks. 😂

I've had the passenger seat creak from day 1. Every time Lucid goes to look at it the creak stops, Fricken annoying as it just comes and goes

Perhaps all of these issues will cause the mobile service fleet to be increased significantly by the time I get my Pure. One small positive.

Thank you. They are coming tomorrow to install a spare cover, but I think there is a chance they are going to have to repaint that side of the car if the new one doesn’t blend well. They haven’t had this issue yet, so I don’t think they know how it will work.

I am impressed with Lucid’s service department. They really want to fix the issues in a timely manner. It takes the stress out if it knowing that they are on it.

My guess is that they can do it. I just hope that it blends well so they don’t have to take the car back in to repaint the whole side of the car.
