Cccv2 upgrade

No. It will reset all your settings, including profiles, Homelink, and everything else.

Sirius may be quirky for a day or two.

That’s it.
Thanks Borski! The upgrade will likely occur when we are away from the house for a couple of weeks. This means we will have to reset our profiles but does it also mean reestablishing our phones as keys? If so, our keyfobs should still work?

Yes. You will need to reset all the above plus any programming such as your garage door opener. I forget but I think I had to reenter passwords to apps as well. As @Adnillien noted, fobs will still work, as should your key cards.

The point made was the chip was obsolete when the car was shipped not after. This makes a big difference and on top Lucid wants to charge for that. I have an upcoming appointment to check the camera lag and if i am going to hear its software i may have to go to NHSTA to report the safety concern i have. Last week i near missed a rear end situation due to camera lag. And yes it is an assistive feature but it has to work or Lucid have to put a message on the screen “use at your own risk”
That would me more on you not maintaining safe distance or being inattentive….you can’t blame lack of collision warning for any crash.

I scheduled my cccv2 upgrade. Mobile service is available.

Lucid mobile tech is in my garage making the upgrade as I type this. :D:cool:

Good 😁
When will we see this in reward store

It's frustrating how often Lucid fails at the little things. On 2/3/26, Nick Twork announced that the CCCv2 upgrade, already on the $$$ Store, would be available to order on the Referral Store. A little over a month later, the upgrade is still not available. I completely understand that there may be an inventory issue, and that an order may take weeks or even months to fulfill, but at least let us get the order in place before the next round of 2-year points expirations. I just don't get it. How hard can it be to take something from the $$$ Store, move it to the virtually identical Referral Store, calculate the $$$ to points conversion, and let us get our orders into the backlog? So frustrating!

Lucid’s timelines are always way off. They take ages and this didn't change even now and don't know when they will fix this behavior.

Lucid, Rivian, Scout, Slate, Tesla. They all have two things in common.
  1. They are EV startups.
  2. They all chronically miss deadlines and announced timing.

But Lucid miss most on even basic things that are in there hand. Like the CCV2 thing we are talking, let us place the order and help put our reward point of good use. This is not a rocket since and something are need to re invent. Just list something they have in the reward store. Lucid posts we are going to list it and a month after and radio silence is not good way of treating there customers.

I think the problem is that the CCV2 upgrade involves both hardware and labor for the install. Everything in the rewards store currently is stuff that requires no labor. My guess is that labor was not thought of when the rewards store was created and Lucid is now trying to figure out the internal accounting to make this happen. I think that it is more difficult than just listing it in the rewards store.

If thats the actual case, its even worst. Think before talk dont think after talking, which is what Lucid most prone to. And is not good for Lucid as a company trying to be the best and carrying a tag Compromise nothing for nothing sake.

I will disagree, it is not bigger. Lucid did not promise a time for the rewards store CCV2 upgrade. As long it is available to buy and install before the 3.0 OTA arrives, I have no complaints. This is not an issue where you an even complain about the Compromise Nothing tag line. Lucid did no have to offer the upgrade either for cash or through the rewards store. The fact the Lucid is doing it is an example Compromise Nothing.

I have to disagree too, they have to offer this because there infotainment is behind for that they said that the car is future proof and its not even ready for 2026 with my car being 2022 and its worst for people with 2023 and and early 2024. This is not Compromise nothing.
Lucid sold me on a promise that my car is future proof and here i am waiting for this CCV2 to have no camera lags, maps to work with no glitch, stop blank screen problems, often reboots. And yes, my service center said, i need to get CCV2 to get this fixed. I am an inch closer to report my camera issue to NHSTA since a car with reverse camera should not glitch or lag period.

What? They know they want to, and they are (presumably) currently figuring out how to. It’s not a matter of desire, but (presumably) a matter of internal accounting to ensure that everyone gets paid and everything is tracked properly.

That seems prudent, not negative, even if you (and I) wish it happened faster.

I know they’re looking and they’ll do it. However, it’s very frustrating as an owner to constantly wait on Lucid’s promises and them delaying and making us lose trust and patience. If it wasn’t for their product, I would have been out of Lucid in my life two and a half years ago.

50% of me hoping Lucid make things better and other 50% of me is hoping some other company deliver better/similar to Lucid and want to be out of Lucid.

...but I don't think implementing it in the Referral Store is a bit different accounting-wise than implementing it in the $$$ Store, and it seems to work there for both hardware and labor. The folks at the IRS would not like it of the accounting in place for the $$$ Store was different from the accounting for the Referral Store.

It is different, because they can simply write off material costs as marketing/incentive spend; nobody needs to get paid. For labor, they cannot simply write it off; *someone* needs to pay the labor, which means they have to figure out how to account for it. I’m not a CFO, but I know this is true from having run my own company in the past and having had similar issues, albeit not in automotive.

On the positive side, once they do you’ll likely find more of these in the rewards store as the reconciliation will already be set up. But they do have to figure out the labor piece first.
