CarPlay working well with 2.2.2

Since 2.2.2 update, CarPlay has connected perfectly and sent music to the speakers reliably!!! Ok team, amazing job, now don't... touch.... anything :-D

For sure my phone connects to CarPlay more reliably after 2.2.2. I still have the workaround set up to force CarPlay as the audio source over Bluetooth, though; maybe I’ll pause the Automation and see if 2.2.2 always picks the correct audio source.

Now if we could just get rid of the audio/video lag…

After 2.2.2, CarPlay for me was inconsistent and finally gave out altogether - couldn’t connect at all - - until I did a Logo reset. That seemed to clear the cobwebs and CarPlay has been flawless since.

Car play works great for me with the latest update. Unfortunately sirius xm now sounds like a record player with a bad needle. Also now getting notifications at times that “ this device is unable to play tidal” weird-o-rama
