After the update CarPlay never works. I tried multiple times to disconnect and reconnect. No use, CarPlay completely stopped. Also I got the lucid charger installed in home. I have 50 amps charger. It keeps tripping as soon as I put the charger for few minutes. How can I fix these two.

Call an electrician.

I had a similar issue with CarPlay not connecting after the latest update and iOS 18.2 Beta. Performing an Air Logo reset didn’t fix it. I had to go to Settings -> CarPlay (on my iPhone) and delete the Lucid connection. Then, I long-pressed the microphone button in the car and went through the pairing and connection process again, which restored CarPlay.

You say this is a 50A Lucid charger? The charger is actually rated for 80A, so you probably mean that it’s configured to 50A. If you installed a 50A breaker but didn’t adjust the Lucid charger to match the breaker’s amperage (and assuming the wiring is appropriate), the car will attempt to draw up to 80A, which could cause the breaker to trip.
