makes sense. thank you! Do people actually only use their phone daily and leave the fob at home?
I do also. The keycard serves as a backup if your phone suddenly failed, you lost it, it was stolen, dropped, etc. Not a big deal but one less thing to carry in one's pocket.Yes! Many do, myself included. You should carry the key card as a backup, but I've never been forced to use it. My fob sits on a shelf at home unless I'm going somewhere with valet service.
The NFC function keyfob can be used to open the car when the keyfob battery is dead. Hold the keyfob below the camera on the driver's side door and press the handle in.Important: Keep the keycard in your wallet - The keyfob battery may die rapidly.
Yeah it was a great vid. I hope all the other engineers are stealing the entry systems engineers' lunch out of the fridge.Yesterday I watched the 2 hour video by O.O.S. of the Lucid design team explaining the drive train and design choices. It was wonderful!! - like an EE course.
I really wish that kind of brainpower had been applied to the simple keyfob and entry system.Yeah
Not necessary. Much info about this can be found at www.lucidupdates.com.Important: Keep the keycard in your wallet - The keyfob battery may die rapidly.
