Don’t disagree on that but marketing has to happen to sell cars. I’m not just talking about gravity - the air. I’m a total car guy - was on Tesla when roadster came out in 2008/09. I’ve owned or currently own Sports cars like Ferrari Porsche’s Audi etc. Went to look at several ev brands. For example Kia EV6 top of line in Canada - note not GT as it’s no longer available in Canada for 2025. But it came to 70k loaded and wanted to lease. They try to make me a deal. When they sent their final offer after negotiating, my Lucid air touring was 25 bucks more per week on my lease. It’s not even a contest. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Genesis etc. It’s not even close - how many consumers know this? Just design an ad showing you can get a $110,000 car for the price of 70K car - the monthly is what you compare if leasing. The Saudi’s have deep pockets and I haven’t seen one ad. Why? Everyday people ask me what kind of car is that? I saw one in Naples Florida at our place down there and I’ve seen one other up here. Why keep a great car a secret? If you are in the sales business, you need to get marketing.
