Back in April my local service center called to tell me they'd received a pre-emptive failure alert for the battery cooling system in my Air. They replaced the coolant pump and had it back to me very quickly.

Fast forward to yesterday and I get the exact same call. The car is in for service now.

I know several others here have had the same pre-emptive pump failure notice, but has anyone else had it happen twice?

A few weeks ago, my Air was in service for weak AC performance. In addition to that issue, I reported that I occasionally heard a gurgling sound from underneath the vehicle. The diagnostic notes stated :

Technician found stored alerts for front and rear coolant pumps. Technician then began performing TSB-M0225-001-02 Coolant Pumps.
Identify and replace the affected MeWP100 coolant pumps. Perform post-repair verification to ensure proper system functionality.
Technician replaced power train pumps and performed coolant purge and thermal bring ups. Vehicle was test driven after to insure proper functions and no alerts or warnings are displayed. Vehicle working as designed.

From the invoice, there appears to be two pumps in the vehicle, one in the front and one in the rear. These are the part numbers of the pumps that were replaced were P11-M10105-00 and P11-M10106-00

Oh interesting, I'll have to compare the part numbers once I get the car back. Thanks for the info.
