Are the key fobs under warranty?

I have a 2025 AT. One of the 2 key fobs stopped working 2 days ago. The other one works fine. I replaced the battery, switched batteries between the 2 key fobs, seated the battery carefully etc. but it does not work. Are the key fobs under warranty?? How much does a new key fob cost?

It’s a warranty item normally. Most likely it just came unpaired with the vehicle. You could try paring the fob in the vehicle, as a last resort. Then give service a call or text.

I tried replacing the battery with the battery from my second fob that works or with a new battery and neither helps. It seems to be dead. I called Service last night and they told me it is not a warranty item which I find very hard to believe.

I'd escalate. The fob's battery isn't a warranty item, but Lucid should stand behind the fob itself.

I’d give service a call, I doubt they wouldn’t warranty it if they had a tech come and look at it and it wasn’t broken by you in some way. Sounds like you might have just had a bad SA pick up.

The fob should be covered under warranty if defective, and this sounds defective.
