Finally updated to version 2.6! My mood lighting is reliably functional now, and the audio system seems mildly improved... but there appears to be a button for Apple's Car Play software on the home screen of my glass cockpit panel. I'm quite sure it wasn't there prior to 2.6. Is everyone else on 2.6.x seeing this as well? Anyone know how to get rid of it? I have no Apple devices..

Discussed elsewhere, but the prevailing assumption is that Android Auto is secretly underneath in the software, but not yet enabled for some reason (I presume waiting on Google to release a new version of AA or approve). As a result, the car recognizes you have a phone it *can* project, but it actually ... can't project it yet. So it shows you the wrong icon because it's confused.

One other bug this creates is that when it tries to project your phone it will switch the Audio to bluetooth every time you get in the car, even if you had the audio set to something else. It's annoying, I'm told (I haven't experienced it, as I have an iphone).

The assumption is that when AA comes out this will be resolved.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully "resolved" as in, back to a clean UI with no extraneous settings on the home screen. I have the AA services disabled on my devices, as far as the Air is concerned it's just a regular old Bluetooth device.
