One more strange thing. On the USB drive I have two albums titled This Woman, once by LeAnn Rimes and one by K.T. Oslin. When I go to artists and select K.T. Oslin, then click on the This Woman album, it plays tracks from both artists.

Sigh

I had the same problem. It's not new to the latest software release. My workaround was to modify the album titles, adding the artist's name or initials to the end of the album name, whenever there's a conflict (as so often happens with album titles like "Greatest Hits"). I'd plug the USB drive into my Windows PC, open File Explorer (Windows-E), navigate to the directory containing the songs, click on one of the songs and Alt-Enter to open its Properties, click the Details tab, and here you can change the album name. I was surprised to find that having a distinct Album artist was not sufficient for the Lucid to realize that the albums were distinct.

Another thing I noticed yesterday was that I have an artist with 3 albums, but only two showed up under artist (I haven't tried looking up the album in the albums lists to see if it's there) and for one of the albums with 12 tracks, it only shows 4. The other weird thing is that the indexing is pretty slow until it gets to around 65%, then it jumps to 70 then 90 then it's done.

Definitely USB support is kind of buggy, but maybe they'll get around to fixing it one day.
