lucid air pure
My android phone never wakes my car and it is going to get cold soon so I would love to be able to warm car up and condition battery here in Michigan. I had car for 3 months and was hoping this would be fixed. Can anyone help?

Work around is let it "wake the car" for like 20 sec. Force close the app and re-open...It should be connected.

Did it work?

Because I have the same issue and it never wakes up my car, specially after the latest 2.5 update
even if I'm sitting inside and the car is fully on,

It worked good at first not so much any more

For Android users the Lucid app is probably the worst experience in the car.
App doesn't work properly
No Android auto
No wearOS watch app

As an Android user, I have to disagree. The Lucid app works fine. I use it to cool the car before I get in it, check the state of charge, lock the car or sometimes open the frunk/trunk. And I can see where my husband is if he's out with the car. It's been frustrating to wait so long for AA when CarPlay came out a long time ago, but it's coming soon.

I've been having a similar issue with app non-responsiveness on android. Weirdly, the app works when NOT on my home wi-fi but is unresponsive while on home wi-fi. Specifically, at home, the app appears to wake the car (as evidenced by the car making wake-up noises when I open the app) but I get no response from the app. I've tried logo reset, have also forced the app to close and then reopen, and restarting my phone. Everything is up to date. Seems to have started on the update that preceded the current one (2.5.3). Happy to hear any solutions. (BTW: This is the nicest car in the world despite app weirdness.)

I'm still using my work around.

Start App let it "wake car" for like 20 seconds. Force close (like center button show all apps and swipe to to get rid of it)
Then re-open. Should connect.

The only time I have gotten my Samsung s23 Android to wake the car is put it within very close Bluetooth distance.. and even then I still have to walk up to the car sometimes because it doesn't read it right. This is very disheartening.... I basically have to be within a short distance and can't pre-warm or pre- cool the car right now and I've only had it for a week! I've uninstalled/reinstalled app, unpaired and repaired the phone, tried to start the app and after a few seconds kill the app and restart it again and nada. I have never been able to set temp/prewarm this car after it's gone to sleep........ and I'm definitely not going back to an iPhone it's been 10+ years! If there's a fix would love to know but reading the reviews on Google Play Store this is unfortunately very common and Lucid should get on this ASAP.

I couldn't wake my car with Lucid's app on my Pixel 9 this morning either. Sometimes Lucid has an issue on their cloud infrastructure which breaks this functionality.
But it has nothing to do with phone-as-a-key.

IOS: I’m having same issue post 2.5 on iOS. Support fixed it for a day but now can’t get it going again. I think it’s related to the last update though I have no confirmation on that.

I think there's something going on with their server today. I have a Samsung S23 Ultra. The app normally wakes the car, sometimes takes a few seconds, but it works. However, it's not working today. @Brenna84 , do you have the app permanently open in the background? That is necessary to have it work when you need it.

Yes I have the app to use all data/ open in background consistently I have never gotten it to work at all while sitting inside my home...

Mine seems ok here.

I've had this problem since the update, too. I just turned off wifi in the car and the app connects again while I'm home.

I've been having this problem since day 1 (2025 Lucid AT - Oct 31 pickup). The app spins forever even after I manually open the car and everything is on. Soft/Hard Resets hasn't solved the problem. I've tried the open, force stop, re-open trick and it works maybe 50% of the time.

I have my car in service at the moment for a broken seat and provided all the key fob + android app delay issues as part of the service call. I'm hoping there is something wrong with the wiring in the car to get a signal. Services fix yesterday - turn on passive unlock 🤦‍♂️ which I promptly disputed as a feature I don't want turned on.

Edit: I'll have to try turning off wifi when I get the car back from service.

Edit2: This behavior happens while at home or if the car is in an open parking lot with a clear view of the sky.
