Hope that doesn't mean what I think it does... but the chances are UX 3.0 will come out within this year. I seriously hope it has AA or at least Google Maps.

I'm driving various cars for over 46 years. I have no idea how I did that without an AA. How silly and inappropriate of me.

Likely the Porsche Macan EV or Polestar 3. Both have native Google Maps and voice Assistant, which are a pleasure to use and make trip planning far easier. Of course, each car comes with its own tradeoffs. The Gravity would be fun, as we really love long trips in the Air. But it's much too big of a vehicle for us to haul around on a daily basis, as there are only two of us, and we don't transport a lot of stuff. We travel all over the world with one 10kg carry-on bag each.

Also, I have grown doubtful that Lucid has any interest in replacing HERE and Alexa with Google Maps and Assistant. I find HERE and Alexa to be aggravating to use, frustrating around town and occasionally hazardous on road trips, and will be careful not to repeat the experience. If Gravity had native Google maps and Assistant, I might be able to justify dealing with the car's size in order to enjoy its freeway range. I've used AA and CarPlay many times in the past - both are fine if they are the only option, but having a choice of native apps via an app store in the car is much, much better.

I have been driving various cars for over 57 years. We have 5 cars and only one, guess which one and the most expensive, doesn't have AA native. I like using Google Maps and would be happy to have that even without the full AA integration, for now. Our Ford, GM and Mercedes vehicles have seamless AA integration.

I would agree for the most part, except that I use Waze and then I also use my Libby and other apps for audiobooks.
Unfortunately, none of these are in the native UI which is why I like AA. None of this is game ending but it's safer and more convenient to have AA directly.
