In addition, almost 90 percent of teenagers have iphones, and young audiences are more important. Also, what do “all the competitors” have over lucid other than the same level 2?

Doesn't matter, they advertised it and I bought the car with the expectation that Android auto will be up and running in the near future as advertised - especially since their UI sucks. Sure it looks pretty but it takes at least 3-4 taps, a swipe, another 3 to 4 taps on a tiny target (back button lol) in a moving car to change from a Spotify playlist to Pocketcast episode for example, which is dangerous. I could use Google assistant on android auto more safely instead. The Alexa integration is simply useless unfortunately.

That’s still true though. It IS in the works as confirmed by executives.

I also wouldn’t say the lucid ui sucks. I do agree Alexa is useless.

Apple makes up a much larger percentage of the user base than that; I’ve confirmed this as a fact. That doesn’t mean Android Auto isn’t important, but based on their numbers it is not a large percentage.

I am very happy with 2.1.42. Anything other than Android Auto ( a pipe dream) is a bonus. If I want just 1 feature it is to simulate regen braking regardless of SoC for a consistent driving experience.

I gave up on Android auto I had to use google maps at least 6 times when lucid nav took me to the wrong location given the same address. I plan to replace my minivan with a used ev in about 5 years and it will not be gravity unless they have android auto or google maps.
