Almost Ready to Pull the Trigger. Any last-minute advice?

I have a 2026 Touring and so far in my experience the charging speeds have been incredibly disappointing. Not being compatible with the majority of Tesla superchargers means that I likely won’t take the car very far on a trip.

Easy to drive, smooth ride, handling is fine, quick at all speeds.
Not sure where you're located, but in the frigid north the EA stations near me have been throttling back the charge speed in single digit weather.

I’m in the SE. most recent charge at EA was 1) 69 F air temp, 2) all stations empty, 3) my car was at 28%. I barely touched 120 for a few seconds. Instead it was just above 100 and then I gave up after 10 minutes. I’ve yet to sustain anything above 120 at any type of high speed charger.

I regularly get over 200 at EA (Albany, Kingston, Saugerties all in NY) with my 2023 Pure. Last charge was slow (last Sunday Albany) started at only 165. Its usually 25-35 minutes to go from 10 to 80. RAN is as quick (Queensbury) and ChargePoint (Queensbury) is cheaper (than RAN) but rarely faster than 120. I don't mind the slow ChargePoint because I eat at the diner and that takes at least 45 minutes and I get more than enough to reach my destination.

This. My AT generally is in this range at any “in the wild” chargers I’ve encountered. Don’t quit just because it goes below 100!

I really do wish all companies would switch to 10 to 80, or even better, 20 to 80, when reporting charging speeds. Lucid and others who report “200 miles of charge” times based in starting at 0% (ie best case, given charging curves) is bound to create disappointment.

I drove 1500 miles in 2 days without touching a Tesla charger with no issues whatsoever. The abundance of Tesla superchargers is great but I'm tired of people acting like there's no other options whatsoever.

As also a Tesla driver i thought SC was the only way. But it’s totally not, EV road tripping is a total non issue. Chargers everywhere.

I'm getting a ride from SFO to the financial district for a business meeting and was picked up in an Air touring. It's super nice, so I'd go for it. I'm posting from the roomy backseat, all is good.
