Air Version 2.9.0

Many thanks. This exactly fits my situation, and makes sense if the reman battery perhaps had some yet-to-be-overwritten firmware.

(This is a better explanation than my backup which involves time travel back to 2022; I do still have some unfinished business there.)
i think its just the base version of software, my did a factory reset on my 26 once and it went back to 1.xxx breifly, which wouldn't have even existing in a 26, but then it updated just fine to the newest software.

@HC_79 - is Lucid Tracker still working for 2.9.0? Mine only says '0 of 1 vehicles updated' but '5 vehicles updated in last 24 hours' - seems like the progress bar isn't populating. Curious what % have been updated in the first official week of rollout.
No update for me so far.
Should be fixed now.

My car just finished installing the update. And this is what I see on my app...

Update 2.9.0 .webp

So the battery bar is nearly full, but it's showing 0 miles. Was at 367 when I started the update. Also, I seriously doubt the cabin temp is 113. In August, maybe, but not in May in Detroit. I'm gonna plug it into my home charger to see if it resets. Then I'm gonna run a couple errands.

My car finally downloaded but ima little nervous to install it.

No problems with the installation for me. Used a bit of the battery, but I recharged and haven't had any unusual consumption since.

As of 2:43 PM Pacific time on May 14, it’s working again.

Same. I did a factory reset after the 2.8.30 update. It was reporting my software as 1.1.4 on the pilot panel and in the app. I was initially concerned, but everything corrected itself with I got the 2.9.0 update.

I've seen this at least once during a previous update. Forget when it corrected itself, but it was not long. I'd force quit the app and reboot the car - that may hasten the process.

Unnerving about the battery but commonly reported here after updates. Don’t sweat it - no pun intended!

When I unlocked the car it magically sprang back to normal. Go figure.

I have seen this after updates in the past. Closing the app and opening it again usually fixes it. If not, the logo reset in the car does it.

Same. The car showed everything normally but the app showed what yours showed. I just deleted then reinstalled the app and everything synced perfectly.

Same - still waiting.

Mine read 0 battery on the app as well when I went out to unlock the car after the update, but immediately jumped to the proper charge level as the car woke up and unlocked.

Just for visibility for everyone. Lucid updated my car to 2.9.0 while it was having its yearly service. Half way home, after completing a phone call via CarPlay the Pilot panel and screen above it went blank. Had to pull over and get out and let the car sleep to get the screen back. I then did a logo reset, just in case. Haven't had a screen crash like that since I first got my vehicle. Perhaps we need more robustness :). Seems a few of us have had this happen.

So the problem I've been having ever since the 2.9 update involves phone calls. As always my iphone works fine for using CarPlay with music and audio books. Waze, etc. and Tidal works fine with the built in car's app. If I tell Siri "Call Michael" it comes back through the car's speakers "Calling Michael" and it places the call but then the conversation (both sides) goes only through the iPhone's speaker and not through the car. I have tried doing "Nuke" reset (X, Mike, Brake), forgetting and repairing both the car and the iPhone, and the problem persists.

Yeah, once 2.9 installed, I went for a few drives and things were fine. On my third drive of the day, i had this happen, too. Middle screens went black. I pulled over, did the steering wheel reboot, and haven't had any issues then. Just another data point suggesting you REALLY should do a reboot after every update.
