So the problem I've been having ever since the 2.9 update involves phone calls. As always my iphone works fine for using CarPlay with music and audio books. Waze, etc. and Tidal works fine with the built in car's app. If I tell Siri "Call Michael" it comes back through the car's speakers "Calling Michael" and it places the call but then the conversation (both sides) goes only through the iPhone's speaker and not through the car. I have tried doing "Nuke" reset (X, Mike, Brake), forgetting and repairing both the car and the iPhone, and the problem persists.

I updated overnight and following the recommendations here, I signed out of the car and tried to sign back in. But my car is not connecting to any mobile network and can't find any wifi including my Hotspot as I was sitting in the car. CS just said they are aware that this update has caused some glitches and they are releasing another one soon to fix the problems this one caused. Why can't they release an update that doesn't break shit??

And it's fixed already. I think letting it sleep for a few minutes solved the problem. So bizarre

The software update process should include steps that eliminate the need for the customer to do either (by doing them itself)... so sad that after so many years that update process still has these problems.

I didn’t want to brag, but they added a second layer of robustness to the package. It literally said it has 25% more robustness

I was also just presented with 2.9.2 (previously on 2.8.30). Someone on Reddit said 2.9 was not for RWD cars. I have a 2025 Pure so maybe that's why it's 2.9.2...?

I wonder if there's some difference in RWD cars that triggered the reduced regen bug. I lived with that for 6 months until 2.8.30 finally fixed it.

Seems plausible. The release notes were identical to 2.9 as far as I could tell

2025 Pure as well. 2.9.2 just arrived. Estimated install time is 1 hour 10 minutes.

Looks like all the Pures got 2.9.2 at the same time. I don’t see any difference in the notes.

Well I got a drive fault error. I’ll try factory reset and redo tonight.

I also got the Drive System Fault. On hold now with Customer Care. They sound busy.
