I have similar experience for the first day. Before update my car would unlock when i unlock my phone or lift it up from my pocket. Not i have to open my phone and unlock car from the appWeird I was coming to say the opposite for PAAS. I've been having to unlock my phone to get the doors to unlock. After this update, my phone stays in my pocket most of the time and I'm able to get my doors to open. It's been night and day experience. I didn't want to post here since I didn't want to jinx it, but I wanted to share my experience. A positive change of pace. I'm hoping I'm not speaking too soon.
Running Pixel 8 Pro.
Wondering if anyone else is getting a better experience after this update. Please note that I've been messing around with Dev Options for bluetooth on my phone to try and get better reliability. So it's possible one of the changes I made improved my situation and it's not the update.
I just did that and the car won’t shut off now lol gotta do it old schoolIf we can trigger the “best” reset manually, why can’t the car do it automatically after update? This is not a new observation…
This JUST started happening to me like literally right now. Even pressing the handles in didn’t workI have similar experience for the first day. Before update my car would unlock when i unlock my phone or lift it up from my pocket. Not i have to open my phone and unlock car from the app![]()
I'm hoping dolby atmos works again when i get the new update. I haven't seen dolby atmos in months despite having tons of tracks on my playlists with itWow! This sounds better after updating to 2.9.0.
Try unlinking and then relinking your phone.I have similar experience for the first day. Before update my car would unlock when i unlock my phone or lift it up from my pocket. Not i have to open my phone and unlock car from the app![]()
Or just use the key fob and forget the phone as a key thing. To each their own, but it seems way more trouble than it's worthTry unlinking and then relinking your phone.
Takes a few minutes but I've been surprised sometimes with better responsivity.

someone mentioned they noticed the same thing a bit earlier in this thread. Is it just me or did the font for the currently playing audio track to the right of the speedometer change with this 2.9.0 update?
Did anyone notice that the font is different now— but only on the right side of the speedometer? Everything else is still helvetica. Weird change

Also, is it just me or before the update, did the left side give you an estimated miles left before the battery was empty?
