Air Version 2.9.0

Weird I was coming to say the opposite for PAAS. I've been having to unlock my phone to get the doors to unlock. After this update, my phone stays in my pocket most of the time and I'm able to get my doors to open. It's been night and day experience. I didn't want to post here since I didn't want to jinx it, but I wanted to share my experience. A positive change of pace. I'm hoping I'm not speaking too soon.

Running Pixel 8 Pro.

Wondering if anyone else is getting a better experience after this update. Please note that I've been messing around with Dev Options for bluetooth on my phone to try and get better reliability. So it's possible one of the changes I made improved my situation and it's not the update.
I have similar experience for the first day. Before update my car would unlock when i unlock my phone or lift it up from my pocket. Not i have to open my phone and unlock car from the app ☹️

Got my 2.9.0 update on Friday. Went out to run some errands on Saturday. Went to several different places. Somewhere along the way, all audio notifications (turn signal, etc) disappeared. Then it came back. Carplay stopped working. Fortunately the car still drives fine. :-) Hoping that reboots will restore order. If that doest work I'll reinstall Windows.

This JUST started happening to me like literally right now. Even pressing the handles in didn’t work

Received my update Friday. We were in Richmond in my wife's car for a weekend of grandkids college graduations with her SUV to take the dogs with us. Did a remote download that was successful. Got home a short while ago and did the hard reboot to my 2022 AGT with CCCv2. Total success with Android Auto back, re-link Tidal. Have not driven yet as I'm going to bed.
I expect perfection tomorrow when I do drive.

I've driven with 2.9 a couple of times. Could not notice any significant difference, except for the fact that range at destination now can be displayed in percentages while using the car's navigation system and the destination can be now shared from the mobile app. But the main thing is that it looks like no new bugs thus far...🤞🤞🤞

Mine installed it Saturday night. Took a minor road trip Sunday (110 miles) and noticed nothing different at all. Everything worked fine.

Wow! This sounds better after updating to 2.9.0.
I'm hoping dolby atmos works again when i get the new update. I haven't seen dolby atmos in months despite having tons of tracks on my playlists with it

Try unlinking and then relinking your phone.
Takes a few minutes but I've been surprised sometimes with better responsivity.

Or just use the key fob and forget the phone as a key thing. To each their own, but it seems way more trouble than it's worth

Planning to do the same. Delete mobile app, remove mobile keys and re add and check.

The Tidal app appears to be a new version because it now allows saving favorites (and has revised choices for audio quality in its settings).

A 6+ GB download in total! Seems large for the functionality provided. Total speculation but I wonder if this update actually includes a lot of the machinery for 3.0. Curious if those with the old CCC have such a large download.

Sadly, haven't gotten it yet on my 25 Pure. Have rebooted, rejoined my WiFi, etc. Just hanging out until it shows up :)

New one for me with Ver 2.9 Upgraded a few days ago, car was already charged to 85% (what I typically charge to). Took 175mile trip, no issues with new release. Began charging car (was about 35%). Checked on it after a few hours. Charging rate seemed slower than usual (I have a 50A charger). Noticed the cabin temp was 95 degrees. Climate was off in the cabin. Got in car, turned off charging, opened windows and ran AC to get temp back to 70 degrees. Shut climate off, closed windows re-started charging. Same things, after a few min cabin temp was 85 degrees and climbing. Stop charging (disconnected charger), opened windows etc. After about 30 min re-connected charger and started charging again, seemed to be fine. Cabin temp stayed around 70.

Only difference was disconnecting charger from car. Wondering if anyone else has seen this problem prior to or now with 2.9. Obviously, it's a concern and will see what happens next time I charge.

Is it just me or did the font for the currently playing audio track to the right of the speedometer change with this 2.9.0 update?
someone mentioned they noticed the same thing a bit earlier in this thread.

Did anyone notice that the font is different now— but only on the right side of the speedometer? Everything else is still helvetica. Weird change

Also, is it just me or before the update, did the left side give you an estimated miles left before the battery was empty?
