Air Version 2.9.0

Since things started for CCCv2, to @marqie! When we may see CCCv2 in rewards store? It been so long we are waiting after this is confirmed. Many of us have regards expiring and we want to make good use of them.

May be asking too much, can Lucid consider adding Annual services to reward store too 🙏
We’re not offering the CCCv2 upgrade through the rewards program at this time, but it’s something we hope to revisit in the future.

Thank you, its very sad. Hope the future is soon :).
We have nothing much in the reward store to use the points.

Reporting Back on the First Bug Found on 2.9.0.

The iOS Widget will report 0 Miles on the Vehicle even though it has plenty of miles left when viewed inside the application.

I did it everyone! I sat my Glut in the beautiful glass Canopy for 30 minutes while my hotspot downloaded 1012 gb for VIN usage, another 5.64 GB was downloaded for hotspot session for the overall update. It is now installing will report back with my findings.

If I don't have CCCv2 yet (the biggest thing I want from this update, I need CCCv2), if/when I get it installed, does the car just automatically go to the latest version/updates (I.e. I would gain all the benefits of CCCv2) even if I already had previously installed on CCCv1?

The reason I ask is because I'm kind of scared that if I don't have CCCv2 and do the upgrade now, then when I change to CCCv2, the car will "remember" what features I have/don't have.

May sound crazy, but I just want to confirm prior to proceeding with the update on CCCv1 and don't want to screw me in the future

No, the native navigation still utilizes Here maps. The Google API just provides an enhanced (robust?) search functionality. We are looking to implement Google API for Gravity in a future release.
Robust is back! :D

That sounds promising. Looking forward to having Google maps for navigation 100%.
I will say that the nav search is a million times better.
Thank!

I upgraded to cccv2 in February. I had 2.8.17 on my cccv1 at the time. After they installed cccv2 I noted in the widget that they were installing 2.8.17 again (even though it already had it when it went into service.

Part of upgrading the hardware will be updating the software to support CCCv2.

I am one of the late invited guests to upload better defined robustness. I hope it improves the connectivity issues with Andoid that were much more frequent with the last update

I just got the update notification but it says I need to connect to WiFi to download it. Never had to do that before View attachment 38636
I received the same message, downloaded the update via personal hotspot on my iphone. and wound up with…exactly what I started with. The update did not install. I will check it in the morning and report back.

Had a very strange episode today. My iPhone app asked to connect my 2025 AT (currently on 2.8.30) to Wi-fi to download an available update. It has never asked to do so before and all prior updates were over cellular. I connected the car to Wi-fi at home and for some time the app was showing that an update was downloading. After 15 to 20 minutes, that notification has disappeared and the app states again that the car is up to date on 2.8.30. Any possible explanations?

And looks like same has happened to some other folks here...

My widget stated 0 miles at first. As soon as I got into range of the car with my phone, it adjusted to the appropriate amount of miles left on the charge.

And now the update is available!

The same thing happened to me but after over an hour of downloading.

Now the OTA 2.9.0 update is showing, but install option is greyed out. Weird

Odd update.. said it was downloading (I'm on WiFI).. then that message went away. Then nothing. Now it says on up to date on the the older software. (2.8.30). Doesn't seem like things are improving software wise.

Updating my post... a half hour later it said software update was available... it's been stuck on uploading 0% for about 5 minutes, but if memory serves that has happened before... (I hope)

My update installed in about 1.5 hrs. Haven't tried to drive yet. But the app still want's me to connect my lucid ID to the car and wouldn't share destination with the car because of that (same bug).

After the update downloads, the car has to process the update package a bit before it can be installed, just like the process of installing a software update on your phone or computer. Normally these are downloaded over cellular in the background, so you don’t see the delay between download and installation availability. My car too finished the download and then went to the software is up to date screen. It took about 5-10 minutes for it to show the update as being ready to install.

An odd thing I experienced was after the update was complete and I received the push notification on my phone, I then received another notification that a software update had begun and the app showed a new update in progress, but immediately at 100%. I let it be and was notified about 5 minutes later that the update was complete.
