Try removing it and re-adding it if a reboot doesn’t fix it.I installed 2.9.0 this morning. Now, Android Auto doesn't load/work.
Has anyone else experienced the same? Rebootthe car? Insights?
It happened to me this morning too. You need to enable wifi at connectivity section of your cars pilot panelHello @marqie I just got the update on my Vehicle, It said I need to connect to a Wi-Fi to update. It usually downloads by itself even when it's not connected to Wi-Fi. Is this a huge update that requires the Wi-Fi to download? Attached a screenshot.
Log out of Sirius XM. Log back in. You'll be golden.I did the install this morning, now all of my XM Radio favorites are gone. Anyone else?
Yes, it requires WiFi. I have WiFi in my garage, but it was old and slow. My garage is detached from the house and some distance from my home WiFi-Central.It happened to me this morning too. You need to enable wifi at connectivity section of your cars pilot panel
That’s dedication! After a few failed attempts to download 2.9.0, I rigged a temporary WiFi AP to the driveway (temporary satellite mesh router across the courtyard). It took almost 2 hours to download 2.9.0.
That' s weird. For me, Android auto launches everytime, even when I don't want it to.Yes, it requires WiFi. I have WiFi in my garage, but it was old and slow. My garage is detached from the house and some distance from my home WiFi-Central.

It was successfully installed. However, my Android Auto no longer launches. Haven't had time to fix it yet. Ah Lucid!![]()
Earlier in the thread, the Lucid rep said that the first wave of distribution would be Wi-Fi only and then it would open up to LTE. Apparently it’s a big download. It has yet to show up on mine. I turned on Wi-Fi specifically for this. Then I’ll turn it back off again.I’ve spoken to Lucid customer service about the WiFi issue. They’re not saying it outright but it appears that Lucid is restricting access to the update unless you’re connected To a WiFi network. Not letting you use LTE. If that’s what they’re doing now they should just be upfront about it. I live in the city and park in a garage several blocks away so I can’t use my home WiFi. This has never been an issue before, just use LTE. I hope that they communicate more clearly if they are forcing us to use a WiFi connection now for updates.
Well, that explains my problem. After installing 2.9.0, every time I launch Android Auto, it fails to launch on my car, but it launches on @spacefugitive's car even though he didn't initiate it!That' s weird. For me, Android auto launches everytime, even when I don't want it to.
Wow! Another proof of teleporting! 2.9.0 is full of surprises!I updated to 2.9.0 this morning on my 2025 AT. Now I'm running into some bugs. First, when I push the mic button on the steering wheel the car no longer makes a ding noise...not a huge issue since the screen says that that the care is listening. The big issue is that my navigation is frozen. I used navigation to drive from Apollo Beach FL to Sarasota FL...everything was working fine. I stopped somewhere midway to get lunch. When I got back in the car, the navigation was stuck. It still thinks the car is located where I got lunch earlier today. I left the car for a couple hours, came back...still stuck. I did a reboot by holding the two buttons and the break...didn't fix the issue. The navigation thinks I'm where I had lunch, but if I click the Location button on the iOS app, it shows my car in my garage. @marqie any thoughts?
