At least it doesn't mention robustness: "Updates, Performance Improvements & Optimization. Reduction of unnecessary warnings and improved overall system stability."

Wow! That's awesome! I haven't gotten yet. Hopefully it'll be in a few hours. I have a 22 Lucid AGT.

Sometimes these updates are deployed very quickly, other times it takes a week or two. Be patient. There's no new features in this one anyway.

Nice! I hope that 'reduction of unnecessary warnings' includes dialing back DDP 'eyes on' sensitivity to a safe but more tolerable level. That's the one improvement I requested via the new software issue reporting system, and I doubt I was alone.

New owner here:
Cell reception at my house is spotty and the car is parked in a concrete garage.
The garage is 75' from the house and doesn't have WiFi connectivity
Should I park the car near the house where it will have WiFi?

As @Bobby said, these always take a while to roll out, and a week or more is not uncommon. Also, I park in a garage with dedicated wifi and a decent cell signal, and I most often get my updates when I am out and about. If you are driving your car regularly, I suggest you don't leave it out in the elements, and just go about your normal routine.
 
2.8.17 to 2.8.30. There have been 13 different versions of this to get to the production software. A lot of work has gone into this. It may not be new features, but it should address a fair number of bugs.

Ah..so it will download the update while driving around, but then install it when parked? Is that correct?

It will download the update whenever it wants to and can, yes; including when you're driving around. Installing it is a manual process, which you initiate either from the car or the phone, and must be done stationary/parked. In fact, you cannot be in the car when it does the update.
 
Did anyone test this update?

Other than 2 or 3 false warnings in 2.8.17, it has been very stable on my 2023 Air Pure AWD DD Pro. HFDA does go off and come back in seconds on the same section of the same freeway. That happens rarely too. So, 2.8.17 is very stable.
 
Hilarious that after all the hype about 3.5 for Gravity, 5 days later the only OTA update is for Air. 🤦🏾🤣
 
I think the slower pace of rollouts and the lack of any reference to "robustness" is a clue that the team is now led by professionals. Trying to be cute while the software train was derailing presents as a total lack of awareness and just serves to annoy people, or at least it did me. Our Air has been totally stable for many months now which all I wanted from the start.

“Some code” and “nothing useful” are not the only options. Please don’t construct a strawman. It’s annoying and unhelpful.

We have seen Lucid produce better release notes for other updates.

I don’t actually think these were bad notes *if* that’s actually all they did, as I suspect this was a release to get everyone back on the same version.

But there is a spectrum and you seem to generally find only one side of it. Consider not viewing the world in quite as much of a binary.
 
I saw a bunch of posts for those who got .17 saying the sound quality over CarPlay improved significantly. I would like to know if something actually changed there or if just a placebo or what. And if something did change, will everybody see that on .30?
 
The talk of "how do I get this" reminds me of Tesla back in the early days... someone on the forum figured out that if you took your car to a Tesla service center and connected to the WIFI there, the latest version would automatically push. I remember driving up to a SC on a Sunday afternoon (it was closed) and there were 3 other cars there, doing the same thing. 15 mins later we all left with the latest version of the software and had something like Fart Mode to brag about to our friends. Ahhhh those were the days. (stops typing, wakes car on phone to see if a software update will push... nope... it will happen at Trader Joe's tomorrow...)
