I am trying to get educated on WHETHER it makes sense, and WHEN does it make sense to upgrade my 2022 Air (GT) to UX3.
Let me start by laying out the premise and the questions:
Premise:
> Lucid says they want to move the Air to UX3. However, that requires a HW upgrade to CCCV2 (pre 2024 models?). The upgrade costs the owner ~$950 (plus tax).
Questions:
> Realistically, when will UX3 come to the Air family?
> Upon UX2 deployment, will UX2 be "frozen-in-place"?
> If I don't upgrade to UX3, does that mean there will not be any more bug fixes on UX2?
> Part of the rationale for CCCV2 upgrade is premised on the older generation computer running out of room (memory, power). Is this correct?
> If I don't upgrade (and stay on UX2) does that mean, we will continue to see support on UX2?
> Is it likely that UX2 with CCCV1 hardware would experience more bugs (running out of compute resources)?
> Aside from the "visual upgrade" how would UX3 enhance my Air's ownership and driving experience?
> With Gravity and Cosmo on the front burner for Lucid, REALISTICALLY, when will Lucid get to UX3 deployment on the Air?
> as an Air owner, would you do the CCCV2 upgrade NOW or wait until UX3 is released to the Air and AFTER we gather enough data on the initial deployment, benefits vs new bugs?
