First post here. Ready to dump my Tesla and make the Lucid plunge. Clearly great deals on the 24s (especially if in stock), but ready and the 25s and the new features. I don't live in a cold climate so the heat pump isn't that interesting, but the better infotainment system and more compute power is. Cant find any details on the new infotainment system. Would love to get peoples thoughts here!

Thanks,
Eric

The heat pump provides better efficiency in cold and hot climates. The improved compute power would not be noticeable if there are not software upgrades to go with it. Software upgrades would go to the entire fleet. The incentives on the MY24 will allow you to value the MY 25 improvements. If you don't need a lot of long range trips the MY 24 is a compelling value. You'll be happy with either model year.

I know there was mention of a control hardware upgrade improving the infotainment system, but I highly doubt that it's a difference worth waiting for. Per Lucid's CEO, any software-based range improvements will be ported to the entire fleet, so the only range improvements you'll miss will be heat pump related. The move to a heat pump is significant in both hot and cold climates, and a lot more so in cold climates. If you live in a temperate climate, it's probably not that big a deal to you, nor likely to make a big range difference. The bottom line to me... Assuming that there are far more compelling deals on the 2024 models, and barring any unannounced 2025 Touring feature surprises, I would go for one of the 2024s.

I have noticed that the video feed from the cameras is a little jittery. So I am hoping with the updated infotainment hardware, that will also be improved!

A heat pump in cooling mode is just an air conditioner. Unless it has a more efficient compressor, It does not provide an advantage for cooling. Its advantage is for heating, especially when the temperature differential between cabin and outside air is small.

IMO, 25. I feel like the improvements are well worth it. In addition, I also think that resale values would be a good bit higher for the 2025 models, given that the market in the future might value the provided QOL features more (heat pump, etc).

I would ask customer service about that. My video feed is rock solid, and I don't recall other people on the forum mentioning that issue. It may just be a loose connection.

Happens occasionally for me too, intermittently. It looks to me like the video processing competes for CPU time with the rest of the infotainment system, but I am just speculating. It does seem like something they would address in a future update.
