First of all, it's beyond frustrating that there is no complete list of all standard and optional features/equipment at each trim level on Lucid's website. I can look through brochures for cars from 50 years ago and see clearly see what features and packages are standard and optional at each trim level. But here we are in 2023 and we're supposed to order six figure luxury cars online without a complete list of what the hell it comes with? I really do not want to order car and assume it comes with a particular feature only to find out upon delivery that it doesn't.

My specific question is this:

At the Pure or Touring trim levels, it appears that it's possible to configure the interior in the following ways:
  1. Mojave PurLux with 12-way heated seats (standard)
  2. Mojave PurLux with 20-way heated, ventilated, and massaging seats (optional)
  3. Leather with 14 way-heated and ventilated seats (optional)
There is no mention of the massaging function with the 14 way leather seats. I find this confusing. Is the only way to get massaging seats in the Pure or Touring trim to get the standard PurLux leather alternative with the 20-way seat option? Is it really not possible to get massaging seats with the optional leather interior in the Pure or Touring trim?

Don’t use it on mobile, so I can’t speak for that!
Actually the mobile app was correct and desktop app was incorrect. Mobile said conquest applied to leases, desktop said conquest applied to purchase only. My DA confirmed mobile was in fact correct

Also ugh sorry, I think I’m going to get my post banned for being off topic again. punish me! @Bobby

Does the purluxe now come standard with thigh extensions (12-way seats)? Is the purluxe seats softer and more comfortable than the nappa leather?

By standard, do you mean without the optional package? To my knowledge, no. Many other members do say that purluxe is softer and more comfortable than the leather, but I love the look of the leather SO MUCH!

Yes. The standard is 12 way purluxe, however, the touring always came standard with thigh extensions so I assume they would have to disclose this if it was no longer a feature on the 12 way purluxe.

the touring comes with 14-ways, and the difference between the 12-ways and 14-ways is the thigh extension. So no, the 12-ways don't have thigh extension

I have thigh extension on my BMW and never extended it, so for me it’s a waste. It all depends on your body.

BMW sport seats are...surprisingly really good about this. I've owned many BMWs and i think the length of the seat base is already good for tall people. I actually rarely used it on my BMWs as well. But I do use it on other cars including the Lucid. Something to keep in mind.

My GT loaner has suede material on the doors and dash. Is this normal for GT's? My Touring seems more luxurious with leather on all parts of the door and dash. I'm curious what you GT owners have.

The GTs do have Alcantara on the doors. Personal preference I think, and I think the GTs leather is supposed to be a higher quality...

Oic I didn't realize that was alcantara. Thanks

That is wrong, they are both nappa leather with no differences.
I'm actually not sure if the grainy leather on the door cards/upper dash is nappa. I don't think it is (i think it's a lower grade of leather). But alcantara isn't nappa either (in fact it's synthetic). So TECHNICALLY the GT doesn't actually come with anything resembling "extended nappa surfaces" like they advertise. And if anything, the Touring is the one with extended leather lol

I thought the GT was full grain nappa?

It is, but so is the touring! Therefore, saying the GT has "extended nappa" is wrong as there IS no extra nappa. In fact, the touring has that "full grain" leather replacing the alcantara meaning it technically has more leather.. lol.

And it is a "lower" grain of leather, although still a very high quality one. When the touring got unveiled at that 2022 launch event, we were all in hysterics over how terrible it looked in pictures(some of us though it was that horrible grainy honda plastic)!

The Touring description is both Nappa and Premium leather so maybe that's the difference?

To clarify

Touring: Nappa Leather seats and "Premium" Leather door cards and upper dash

GT: Nappa Leather seats and Alcantara door cards and upper dash

The Nappa Leather content in both cars is the the same. The difference is the Alcantara vs "Premium" Leather on the door cards/upper dash

Yup, this is the real difference. I still don't get why the nappa leather is called "extended" though...

I’ve been saying this for a long time. But I think the seats have different leather between the trims as well. It’s not just the doors and dash. I think the “extended” bit is because more of the surfaces on the seats of the GT are Nappa. Lots of car companies do this. They put the higher quality Napa bits where you are more likely to touch it, and then other panels, such as the back or sides of the seat, will be some other premium leather.

I know porsche and BMW do that, specifically BMW with their "extended merino" option on the 7 series. I think the surfaces that are not leather on the touring are purluxe instead, potentially like the sides of the seats. That would make it very hard to confirm if it is indeed leather or purluxe as they feel very similar. What do you think your touring has on the side?

I have a GT loaner right now, and the material on the sides of the seat and the door sills and behind the alcantara/premium leather on the upper dash are not nappa leather. But they are the same exact material as the Touring. Those areas are not as supple as the seats themselves, so I'm pretty confident it's not nappa. It could be pureluxe like you suggest

But Unless someone can prove otherwise, the ONLY difference between GT and Touring i've been able to find is the alcantara vs premium leather in the door cards and upper dash
