2.4.4 Update - Hunter Moon Oct. 17th

2.4.4 Update has arrived today and while I have no discernable issues with the present software (2.3.10) I feel like you might be the right people to ask. I'm just wondering if anyone has maybe found, an esoteric chant that may help facilitate a smooth transition with the update and maybe just hasn't shared. I'm thinking of waiting until the upcoming full moon just for the extra nudge. This seems to be a very supportive group and I just thought maybe it's good time to not be shy and share those words.

I don't think there is reason to be shy about the update. Reading this forum may lead one to think that it's full of bugs, but the truth is most people have no problems. People just don't post when things work the way they do when things don't.

And some of the problems that do get reported aren't actually bugs in the new release, but due to any update getting installed, which leaves some of the systems in an inconsistent state. These are things that stop working, like audio dropping out, which is easily solved with a reboot. If you proactively reboot (use the logo reset) your car following each firmware update, you are less likely to see these.

Oh yeah. It also appears that the 2.4.1 & 2.4.4 updates went off without a hitch.
