    Issues with my car

I've got 23,000 miles on my Air GT, I do find the profiles problematic, but have trouble free driving and amazing range. I do routinely reduce range by 20% because I have a heavy foot and am never really concerned about range. I take long road trips, where the car is a pleasurable traveling...

Very Hopeful for Enhanced DD Premium features for Air

Congrats on your Gravity order. I've had my Air GT for two years, love it, so decided to wait on ordering a Gravity for now. I do a lot of road trips and want to take full advantage of the three years of free charging at EA before I change cars. Lucid is an amazing vehicle, cruising at 80mph...

    Pure vs grand touring

Congrats on your new Lucid, I have owned my GT since Nov, 2022, love it, but think the Pure is sweet spot in the line up for most people.

    RESOLVED Is motor whine normal?

In truth, I've owned my GT since Nov 2022 and only engaged in full throttle accretion once. The car is actually way too fast for driving on public roads. I and my passengers find full accretion to be very unpleasant.

    Best reactions to your Air

While driving to Raleigh NC two young guys in a utility truck chased me down through heavy traffic until along side my Air GT. They gave me a thumbs up and said they had bought stock in Lucid. Poor guys!

Real world range touring 19 inch wheels

I just completed a 1,350 mile road trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Cleveland, Ohio. Averaged 3.1miles/KWh. My son did a lot of the driving where he's not adverse to 90 to 110mph sprints. On one leg where I had cruise set on 74mph, I averaged 4.4miles/kwh over a 250mile segment.. It is hard to...

New AGT acquisition process. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (the third will surprise you ;-))

I suppose there have been staffing cuts in some areas of Lucid since I took delivery of my GT in November 2022. I had a good experience . I am very happy with my car. Have driven from Miami to Maine and points in between. it is a fantastic car, ticking all the boxes for me. Proud to be a...

Is this experience common when attempting to lease or buy?

Sorry to hear this. My experience has been very much the opposite, in fact I've found all staff at Lucid very helpful. I have used both Miami and Palm Beach dealers in Florida. I used the Tyson Corner service in Virginia, nearest my summer home.

    RESOLVED Multiple issues with Lucid

Very sorry to hear this number of problems. I've had my GT since Nov, 2022, none of those issues. I'd insist on them servicing the car and providing a loaner. I'd also threaten Lemon Law if you get resistance from Lucid. They owe you a fully functioning car. I'm assuming you bought this new.

Insurer would not cover a Lucid

I had no such issue with USAA.

    Just ordered a Grand Touring!

I've had my Air GT since Nov 2022, still love this car, exceeded all my expectations. A true GT car, wonderful for long trips with a range that lets you explore back roads. My only issue was it got vandalized in Trump Country. Guess electricity is now unAmerican in Red states that have been...

    Best reactions to your Air

While driving to a wedding in VA, two young men in a work van chased me, waving their arms. Turns out they were huge fans and this was the first one they'd seen. One of the guys said, "I'm buying stock in Lucid!".

New Touring vs Used Grand Touring

While I might have gone with a Touring for the reasons you site, I'm very happy with my GT and the extra range it provides. I do a lot of distance driving and enjoy all its extra features.

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

I've never had my indicated range drop below 100 miles before recharging. I assume I can go about 400 real miles between charges. But I drive 80mph plus.

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

I just completed a 1,600 mile drive from Ft. Lauderdale to Cleveland, Ohio, then on to DC, a mix of mostly highway but around town driving too. I admit, not good at going slow, because the long range eliminates range anxiety. I averaged only 3.3m/kWh, so getting 350 to 410 miles of range at...

    Best reactions to your Air

I love cars so went to a local Cars and Coffee event. Unfortunately, when I arrived it was mostly muscle cars with their hoods up displaying their powerful engines. Everyone starred at my me and my Air GT. Then the questions started, when i explained its 0 to 60mph time, they all looked glum...

    Contactor Recall Megathread

Such problems don't only happen to vehicles from "brand new companies." They happen tp all manufacturers. Modern cars are complex, many parts are from outside sources, stuff happens.

    Lucid-EA connection failure?

I've found EA to be variable in performance. At the EA location nearest me (4 miles away). It chargers at a much lower rate than the 350Kw stated, ramps up to 150kw before settling down to 22kw. The next nearest EA location (10 miles) is rated at 150kw, but delivers a consistent 80kw. So I...

    Pilot Panel Problem

Lucid techs asked me to bring it in tomorrow. That requires a 75 minute drive each way. Hell of a way to spend a day. This will be the third time I've taken it in for Pilot panel issues and the second time they will have kept the car overnight.

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

I haven't been on a road trip yet, just around town driving. My longest drives have been to the Lucid service center off the interstate. I admit to driving too fast to maximize range.
