Anyone know when the gravity can be ordered?

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

I have to disagree. Those of us on this forum have a higher tolerance for beta products. I took delivery of Dream edition #30 in 11/2021 and it barely worked. I was willing to put up with that. I wouldn’t be so sure when it comes to charging. I know a fair number of people with EVs (20+)...

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

I tried this argument, but apparently you need to be an electrical engineer to weigh-in/or understand why high-voltage charging is superior. My arguments were ultimately deleted but I’ll restate it: user experience is equally as important as the software and technical details. When it comes to...

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

I understand that. My post was not intended to stir anything but rather express an opinion that my preference (and the preference of the vast majority of EV users) is to have lucid adopt NACS.

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

I couldn’t care less about the charging speed, the electrical properties or the theoretical advantages of CCS. It’s a worthless connector, and needs to be retired. I’m a consumer. I charge at home 90% of the time, and when I am on the road I want the best experience. That is NACS.

    2.0.33

You can turn it off under settings/apps. I personally am thrilled. It works really well and has been my biggest gripe since delivery. I can deal with bugs all day, but not without SXM.

What would you like to see from the Lucid mobile app?

You can, I should have clarified to mean when I have no fob/card/mobile key.

Munro on 14-50 outlets for EV charging, and other worries

Wow. Thanks for posting this. I have mine hardwired, but it’s good to know.

They do, but that doesn’t mean a firefighter using a saw knows not to go through a high-voltage cable. There were accidents early on, and Tesla now places “cut here” stickers and orange markings to delineate high-voltage. I was told the sticker is to quickly let a first responder know that...

What would you like to see from the Lucid mobile app?

I would really like to ability to start the car if for some reason my mobile key or fob isn’t working. It would also be nice to be able to trigger the home link system. I thought we would never use it on the Tesla and I have a bunch.

[Lucid Air Pure] To Dual or Not To Dual, that is the question

Personally, I prefer AWD, but your choice in tire and whether you drive like an idiot or not plays more of a role in winter traction.

I have them on. It’s really not obtrusive. I suspect that there is no penalty for using it, but it shifts liability to you in the event a first responder is hurt not realizing there are high voltage cables running through the vehicle.

My understanding was that the sticker is required and designates the car as an EV to first responders. It’s usually placed in the upper passenger side of the windshield. Not sure about the license plate. I’ve had several EVs and never had the option. Is that new?

Any Lucid owners who are previously Taycan owners?

True. Although I’m not sure the Air qualifies as a true family car.

Any Lucid owners who are previously Taycan owners?

Range on the Taycan is the biggest issue for me. That + interior space for occupants is what relegates it to non-daily driver.

Any Lucid owners who are previously Taycan owners?

I have a Taycan Turbo S (went from 2020 to a 2022), and I have a dream edition performance. I use them very differently, but if I had to choose one, it would be the Lucid. Whether the Taycan can be fully used as a daily driver depends on what you are bringing with you, kids, etc. I have 3...

iPhone MagSafe mount to replace OEM charging pad.

At one point in my conversations with CS they mentioned that the team was looking into other options and whether it could be retrofit into existing vehicles so presumably it can be.
