Car locked with child inside and would not unlock

Do you think they never thought to press the handle during this issue?

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

Their slogan is “Compromise Nothing”, they take full payment for their product, and they do not tell any prospective buyer that they “should expect something that is not fully sorted”. That is disingenuous and for some reason excuses the company for their failings.

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

Man you are a glutton for punishment. There is no award at the end for sticking it out the longest - cut your losses and regain your sanity. I’d absolutely let Lucid buy those back and let them tear them down for an autopsy on their time and dime, not yours. At some point you have to...

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

Gaskiller - I find it interesting how personal you take every critique and how quickly you are to dismiss others. You might explore why your personality is so wrapped up in the success of Lucid and why you discount others even when you clearly don’t read their explanations very closely.

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

Yep - unfortunately one lesson they learned from Tesla is that you can take people’s money now for promises that might take forever to be delivered, if ever. I’m amazed that Tesla and Elon haven’t been sued into oblivion for the FSD scam, but they did lose a court case last week on it.

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

I just have the crazy belief that if I exchange my money for your product and all the features you promised, then that product and those features should flat out work. After all, the money I gave you in exchange works immediately, all the time. Not some of the time, not for some of the other...

Car locked with child inside and would not unlock

I care about a lot of things and do nothing at all about most of them. Caring isn’t really enough, is it?

TCU not being covered under warranty

It’s great that you consider it a win that they are fixing items under warranty that they are required to fix per that very warranty. They aren’t doing you any favors at all, and in fact are screwing you by giving you a reman battery and charging you for the TCU. This thread is confusing -...

TCU not being covered under warranty

Warranties go with the car, not just for the original owner. This isn’t unique to Lucid or new to car ownership.

    The Long Goodbye

Discount Tire certs used to be about $40 a tire - now they are based on the price of the tires new, and can easily cost several hundred per tire. Still probably worth it but not cheap insurance anymore.

Congress Wants You To Pay $130 A Year Just To Drive An Electric Car

I pay an extra $200 on top of regular registration fees already in Texas. I also pay tolls for a ton of the highways I drive on all the time. In addition, I pay gas tax for my wife’s car, super high property taxes, sales tax…. The bottom line is no amount of our money is ever enough for any...

    Buying your Air at lease-end

which is insane - not specific to Lucid for sure, but makes no sense. Id prefer to buy a pre-owned car with tint and PPF already done and they could probably charge slightly more too.

    "Pull Forward" Call From Lucid

I’d say layoffs to the service department are starting to have an effect…

How have you not lemon lawed this car yet? The aggravation would have made me lose my mind. The fact that your experience, or hmp10’s experience, is even a possibility will absolutely keep me from buying a Lucid, unfortunately - even though I love the way they look and drive, I would be...

    The Long Goodbye

No one wants a full time job capturing data to provide to the manufacturer to fix problems. You are as patient as Job with this stuff.

    The Long Goodbye

If I already owned an Air or Gravity I wouldn’t want to see the Cosmos launch any time soon. It’s already hard enough for get a service appointment, isn’t it?

    The Long Goodbye

And yours is not representative of his. There can be plenty of owners who have an experience similar to yours, and at the same time plenty of owners who have an experience similar to hmp10’s. Not sure why this is even a discussion point - there is plenty of evidence across this very forum of...
