    Scheduling of EV Charging

I have a Grizzl-E Duo, and it didn't work as I thought it would (which is to charge immediately during the "scheduled" interval and wait during the "unscheduled" interval). But I haven't really futzed with it much. I really don't see how it could be EVSE dependent, or why it needs to be. From...

New scheduled charging feature -- how is it supposed to work?

Got the new update last night, and decided to try it this morning. Set scheduled start time to 12:00 AM, and it displays "Scheduled charging 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM", and "Immediate charging 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM". I understood that to mean -- if you plug it in any time between midnight and noon...

Backup camera says "unavailable" about once a day

Sometimes, my backup camera shows black, and an error message that says "camera unavailable" (or something like that). The surround view still works. Anyone seen this? The service center threw up their hands and said they think it will get fixed in a future software update. (Not that I...

Automatic vehicle hold fault, parking brake fault -- possibly because of driving through puddle

Could it be that they sprayed the car underside prior to the PPF (or even after, I suppose)? If they really do have an iffy seal in there, I can imagine it causing a fault after a little while. And maybe it will just disappear, like mine did. The service center could not see anything in the logs.

I just posted them on the photos/videos forum. It looks like any other, I suppose!

    RESOLVED Grill aero shutters stuck

Huh. So I just have to make it happen at lower speeds :) But seriously, that gives me something to look at. Maybe put some tape on the frunk seal to see if it changes anything.

    RESOLVED Grill aero shutters stuck

I actually did report it, and the first response from the service advisor was -- sorry, we can't drive the car more than 65. It was rush hour, so there literally wasn't a nearby freeway where I could take the technician along to reproduce it.

    RESOLVED Grill aero shutters stuck

Well, it's been happening ever since we got the car -- and the delivery location didn't seem particularly leafy. Still, it's worth looking at closely ...

    RESOLVED Grill aero shutters stuck

I don't have these symptoms exactly -- but could these grill shutters be the reason for a faint fluttering sound above about 70 mph? The sound comes from somewhere in front, and my wife likens it to a leaf stuck somewhere.

How soon do service centers call back?

Yes, the e-mail response is reasonably prompt (but still more than the two hours I believe they promise), but my experience with the Millbrae service center has been less than ideal. I have to keep pestering my service advisor for updates.

Front radar not operational, still waiting for replacement

We got our Air Touring a month ago, and the front radar did not work from day 1, with the error "Front radar blocked. Try cleaning sensor". So no adaptive cruise or highway assist. We're more than a little disappointed with the lackadaisical manner in which Lucid service has treated this issue...

Let's talk about the "clunk" in the room.

"Clunk" isn't quite how I'd describe it, but I notice what I'd call a creak every time the car comes out of auto brake hold. I can sorta feel it in my right foot, too -- and the overall sensation is almost like a crunch. (Wow, how many onomatopoeias do we need?) It's not a big deal -- just...

Automatic vehicle hold fault, parking brake fault -- possibly because of driving through puddle

As it happens, @NoseyReporter was right on the money. The faults went away on their own, and both auto hold and park are now working correctly. Interestingly (although this might be completely unrelated), the turn signal sound got a lot feebler for about ten minutes or so, and then came back...

Automatic vehicle hold fault, parking brake fault -- possibly because of driving through puddle

I don’t know, really. Deeper than it looked, but other cars were going through. And nothing happened right away … the fault showed up about 10-15 minutes later.

Automatic vehicle hold fault, parking brake fault -- possibly because of driving through puddle

Week old Air Touring is showing this after driving through an unavoidable large puddle on the freeway. Have a call into Lucid -- no response yet beyond acknowledgement.

Sometimes, car won't go into drive -- but it will if I switch profiles by hand to my wife, or guest

Well, it hasn't really resolved itself -- I just removed my wife's profile temporarily, and the problem went away. And it wasn't just a case of me not waiting long enough ... I tried for several minutes before I gave up. The car's going in to have its front radar fixed, and they'll try and...
